So I ordered the new Sn@p albums and a few other things on November 5. It was shipped UPS and according to the tracking it was transferred to my local post office on Tuesday and it still isn't here!!! I'm so anxious for my box of goodies it's driving me nuts. It better get here tomorrow or I guess I'm making a phone call to somebody.

I HATE it when they ( a lot of companies are doing this now) ship it UPS or FedEx and it goes to the Post Office. It takes for fricken ever to get it.
I wish they would just send it through the Post Office to start with - priority mail - it would get here so much faster.
I hate Fed Ex in general - just had to add that in.

Because the guy who delivers in our neighborhood drives like a bat out of h*ll.
I will never use Fed Ex because of him.

Whenever I order Surepost and it is scheduled to arrive on xx/yy/zz, even if the post office gets is 4 days early they will not deliver it until the scheduled date. |

I always go to my PO and get it myself. HA
And they've never had a problem with it. I think they're relieved...that's one less package they have to account for and deliver.
Try that....if you're close enough to your PO. |

Gee I thought it was just me. I ordered mine on the 2nd and finally got it yesterday but it was delivered to the local post office on the 9th. I didn't get that at all! |

Oh, I have had that happen with my PO when I ordered and used the surepost shipping. I decided that the extra $1.50(usually & approx.) that it costs to ship priority was worth it. Hope you get it soon!

Why? Which shipping option are you using? I use priority. With my last order it went out on a Friday and I had it on Monday. Don't think it could get to me much faster. |

I got my package 1 day early last week! I did the Sure Post and I checked my UPS status to see if it was on time and I saw a notice that UPS said it would deliver to me directly instead of through the Post Office!! I couldn't believe it  !!!! I think it was because I had another package that day from UPS. Their computer must have seen that or something?? I don't know - but that was a first  | |

It is a post office issue if the carriers not sorting all the mail and packages. I have had this issue before and I called up the postmaster and complained about it. The next day it still did not arrive, so I called the postmaster again and complained; he told me that the carrier could load all the packages on his little vehicle. I then told him we will see what happens when I can his boss. I called the main postmaster for MN and complained to him and told him the story. 2 hours later, I ha a knock on my door with the local postmaster himself delivering my package. It pays to complain, and even go over their head when the issue isn't resolved. Since then I haven't had any issues of my packages not being delivered on time. |

I hope you get it. My last order from TWO PEAS was stolen off my back step (in MN). I spoke with the carrier and the postmaster and the carrier is adament that he left it, so yes, stolen. For me, I just placed an order this week from 2peas...ironically, almost the SAME order as in Oct, but this time, I have a plan for the Carrier to place box INSIDE my back porch. I am also going to call PO and notify them that a package is coming. (Sure they will love that). I was hesitant to EVEN order again, but I had to....  |

Hey Peas!
I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware that Two Peas does in fact offer 2 methods of shipping. You can choose from UPS Surepost (typically the less expensive option, depending on where you live), or USPS Priority Mail (normally a little bit more expensive, but package usually arrive within 2-3 days of being shipped).
With UPS Surepost, there may sometimes be a delay for sorting after it is transferred from UPS to USPS.

Have you thought about checking your SurePost tracking number on the USPS.com website? That would give you a more accurate delivery expectation from the Postal Service. You can always call your local Post Office to arrange to pick up your parcel when you see the "Arrival at Unit" event in the tracking record on USPS.com. That is an actual physical scan by the Postal Service of the Delivery Confirmation barcode on your package.
Please keep in mind that SurePost is a slow shipping service from FedEx which is about the same as the USPS Parcel Post service which travels by ground. It does not travel as fast as Priority Mail or First Class mail which ships via air.
