Who would you contact? 2peas because I bought it here or Studio Calico because it's their product?

My frame is broken the bottom edge is shredded in places so no smooth finish. and the "twinkle" block is just a block no twinkle at all, and the candy cane banner thing is also shredded.

It is sold out at 2peas (not sure if 2peas keeps inventory or not to take care of this or not) but I would be emailing SC or Hero Arts since 2 peas is sold out.

My stamp set is also wrong. There is no twinkle, just a solid black rectangle and the candy cane banner and the frame on the bottom are shredded on mine too. Wondering if that was intentional or not.

Also, on the ___ days til Christmas, they spelled it till.

off to put in a service ticket. Boo

Oh no, that is awful. I haven't received mine yet but it sure sounds like a production problem. It wasn't an inexpensive set either.

I missed the "till" mine has that too. The misspelling is also on the product page. It seems quality control was missed. I emailed 2peas hopefully they can help.

It never hurts to open a service ticket here as they can point you in the right direction if they can't be of more direct help.

But um... 'till' should have two Ls. Until has one; till has two - for the meanings as time, and the object (cash register) and the verb (farm work). With one, it would need an apostrophe at the beginning or it would mean a sesame plant. Random dictionary check of the day. (and not marked as a uk/us difference in my dictionary anyway!)

Hmmm... I've always used 'til with one L. So, I guess they should have used an apostrophe

Anyway, submitted a service ticket last night....
Checked the SC boards and didn't see anything mentioned over there.

That stinks! Good luck!

On the til vs till thing, I also am used to seeing 'til and not till. I googled and saw that 'til is more common in the US on a grammar site. Love google!

Hope it works out for you ladies!

Totally agree - the "till" would bother me.

On the SC studio chat it was mentioned that 'til is an abeviation of "until".

Yikes, this set is on its way to me right now it sounds like there may be a production issue.

I also do not like the "till" misspelling. "'Til" is an abbreviation of "until," and thus should be spelled 'til, with one L. You wouldn't spell it "untill."

I go with the English Master on this. I am ok with Till. I think it is more formal tha 'til. So that doesn't bother Me. Have to see my stamp for the other items, (shimelle has her MA in English). Till I think is also old English which usually fits a Christmas theme.

I'd definitely submit a form to Two Peas, OP.

IMHEMO (in my humble English Major opinion), in America at least, it's 'til, not till or til. Granted, this is a very recent development in the English language, but is widely regarded as correct (in the United States). The apostrophe takes the place of the part of the original word you are leaving out, thus until - un = 'til.

The word 'until' came from till, not the other way around. Till is the much older word, and aside from its agricultural and cash register definition, it meant 'to' in regards to time for centuries. This usage of till to mean 'to' is still frequently used in some countries and regions, including Scotland and other parts of the U.K., which is probably why Shimelle argues it is correct. Rightly so, in her case. Not so in mine, with my current location.

So, to sum up, till (original word, meaning 'to') -> until (developed from till) -> 'til (abbreviation of until)

We had this argument in class one day, and this was my stance.

I'm fine with the till. it may be more common in British usage but it is still acceptable and defensible here in the states - especially since Till is the source of until. I hate typos and misspellings on pages - makes me twitchy - but if it is in the dictionary as quite correct - and not slang- I am fine with it

And, FWIW, having talked to C.S. a bit ago, sounds like SC/2Ps/HA are going to address the stamp set issue in a completely acceptable manner (at least to me)

Is this the same set that was to be included in the SC DD set? Because they sent out a letter saying their stamp sets had arrived and they were not happy with the quality and production issues. They sent replacements instead...I wonder if the rest shipped as planned?

This is the set that was sold here. The DD stamp set is something different. I didn't order it, but I read they sent out an email with an image of it or part of it.

No. I thought the DD stamp was sent out. They were just going to send an additional stamp set later because it wasn't exclusive like they said.

I received a reply to my service ticket.

Unfortunately, they don't have any non-defective sets to replace them with. So, they refunded the purchase price to my Paypal account.

Thanks 2peas Customer Service for the quick response!

I wonder if that is why my 11/6 order hasn't shipped. Bet that is holding it up. No problem, I trust 2 peas will sort it out. Thanks OP for pointing this out.
