I understand they are trying to stretch their branding but artful parenting, WOW. It is almost as comparable to me buying a sofa at the dollar store.

I agree, they are stretching it a little too far. |

I thought the same thing. Actually, I thought it was spam at first. I think they're a little out of their league with this one. |

Thought it odd too, but she is licensed, has five kids, and taught other classes. I think this is why they took out scrapbooking and put classes in the title. |

I saw the email and just kind of stopped and then thought what the heck and deleted it. I thought it was strange. |

When I saw it was for the "Tween" years, I looked at it no further. But now that I have read the class description more thoroughly, it may be good for those having a hard time dealing with the kids transitioning to another phase of life. I'm sure she uses art therapy a lot in her practice and thought to offer it to the scrapbooking community. JMO. |

honestly, i don't have any kids, much less "tweens" (is that what they call them these days?) - however, my thoughts on the "concept," since my curiosity made me click over and read it -
she's a licensed counselor, so she is atleast "qualified" to be teaching a class like that.
some of my all-time favorite classes have been the "art journaling/journaling type classes and i did take her journaling class a while back.
now, i used to spend a completely asinine amount of time and money on bpc, but lately, i've been gravitating more toward art journaling and mixed media classes, which bpc hasn't (atleast not yet) offered too many of, so... |

I just had to comment - every time I see this title I read 'awful parenting' at first before my mind fully registers it. |

No kids here either, but the whole thing is just weird on a mainly crafting/scrapping site. At least I think so. |

I am so glad that I am not the only one that thinks this is a little weird, out of place strange etc etc. I was going to post about it earlier but glad someone did. CZ did do a class on something exercise and weight lose related awhile back so I guess this is the path BPC is going to take. Not what I need or want so I will stick with 2 peas and the garden girls!!! |
