Could watch over and over - and do. In fact, I have MANY Christmas movies and love even watching The Polar Express and the Disney A Christmas Carol.

I have 373 Christmas songs in my iTunes and I play it on shuffle. Too many favorites to list....and so many of them make me cry.....nostalgia wreaks havoc on me at Christmas.

CD: Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack, whatever good classic Christmas music station I can find on Pandora (I'm not normally a big classical music listener, but at Christmas I'm all about traditional versions of O Holy Night, Angels We Have Heard on High, the Hallelujah chorus, etc).

Movies: A Muppet Christmas Carol, Love Actually, all the claymation movies (especially A Year Without A Santa Clause), The Holiday, Elf, The Grinch (cartoon or with Jim Carrey), Polar Express . . . I think those are all of the Christmas movies I own.

Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, Elf, A Christmas Story

I also like to put on Christmas episodes of shows such as Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond.

For music I just put on a holiday Pandora station.

I'll never forget buying this album a few years ago and playing it over and over while I made Christmas cards! A Merry Christmas with Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters. It's so peppy and fun.

Movies, I'd have to go with White Christmas.

I am quite bored with our small music collection, so thanks to everyone for sharing their fans. I'll be off to itunes to buy some new music soon!

As for movies, we have to watch a ton at Xmas, including:
White Christmas
It's a Wonderful Life
Miracle on 34th Street
The Grinch (Jim Carey version)
Christmas Story
Christmas Vacation
The Holiday
Home for Christmas

I know there are several more, but I can't recall all the titles. Of course, the one that is a must-see is Christmas Story, which I'm sure we could all recite from memory!

Great responses-and new suggestions for some music to pick up too!

Funny how so many people love Elf - I can't stand that movie but I sure can watch 24 hours of A Christmas Story

The other song I should have mentioned is Montgomery Gentry's Merry Christmas from the Family. It's hysterical.

I love all Christmas music(except grandma got ran over)!!! for the last few weeks, I have been watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel non-stop while scrapping. They are very cheesy...but festive!
My favorite holiday movie of all time is The Sound of Music it's not holiday themed but I always watch it at the holidays.
My family also loves The Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation. They were my ex-husbands favorite movies. He passed away last year on Jan 5th just a few days after we gave him the famous "Leg Lamp" from a Christmas Story. He was so surprised and it was a great memory for the kids to have! I hope I got a picture of him opening that gift! I will have to scour the picture card! HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

It was fate that I would enjoy paper crafts...my name is Sharmon (like the TP)!

Let it Snow - Boyz 2 Men

A Christmas Story
Love Actually
Home Alone
any and all of the cheesey ones that Hallmark/Lifetime/ABC Family plays

Funny how so many people love Elf - I can't stand that movie but I sure can watch 24 hours of A Christmas Story

Love this thread.. faves to scrap by are Christmas Vacation and Home Alone. Like many of you I just didnt' get why Elf was so great after the first time I watched it but then the following year I gave it another try and I LOVE it I must admit!!! I also have DVRd quite a few of the Christmas movies on this weekend on Lifetime and ABC Family.. yes they are cheesy but they are feel good and easy to have on as background.

I just watched, "The Heart of Christmas!" It is one of those Hallmark/Family Channel movies. It had me in tears! Smaltzy Christmas movies are my guilty pleasure. It is currently on Netflix!

Try to make at least one person happy every day, and then in ten years you may have made three thousand, six hundred and fifty persons happy, or brightened a small town by your contribution to the fund of general enjoyment.

Rod Stewart, Richard Marx and Colbie Caillat all have new Christmas cds out this year. I discovered a perfect little jewel of a holiday movie last year - "Holiday" with Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn. If you're an "old" movie buff, it's simply wonderful!
