Test driving for the big T-day .. I just took these out of the oven.

I could always make rolls that taste good but they looked horrible. I decided to google to see if I could learn how to do a better job.

I wish I could take credit for the technique. It's easy and demonstrated really well on You Tube.

I want to make rolls that are like O'Charley's... light, fluffy, and yeasty. Recipe, anyone? Every time I try, mine end up flat and hard.

They look delicious!

Here's a Yeast Roll recipe that is incredibly easy to make but oh so good! They're time consuming only because of the rising time. DSs and friends love when I make them.

ETA: When it's time to roll the doughs, spray your hands w/Pam and coat with flour. You'll continually coat your hands with flour to prevent the rolls from sticking.

I'm sure they can be frozen but I've not tried. I have baked some the day I've made them and refrigerated enough to bake for dinner the next night. Usually though I keep enough for us to bake and share with a friend who would like rolls for dinner.

That is awesome!! your rolls look great!

I do just have to say, though, that her can opener in the video reminds me of a minion from Despicable me.

ETA: I showed this to my son and I had to come back and edit when I saw that it is not a can opener, but her mixer.

Those look SO good! I could eat that entire pan! Thanks for sharing. I may have to practice too - even though I'm not hosting dinner or bringing rolls!

Yum! Thanks for both recipes.

I've never made bread. How far in advance can you make rolls?

Those look so yummy. I am going to TRY and attempt to make rolls this Thanksgiving. I usually just buy them. Wish me luck!
