We are going to be visiting Houston and I want to get to the Archivers there. What else is around it? Is there any other shopping near by?
I'm not staying in that area so I would have to make a side trip to get to it and was wondering if there would be anything interesting for dh and two boys to do while I shop. |

There is quite a lot I just don't know what they might be interested in. There's a great JoAnn's in the shopping center near by for you though.. There's a Home Depot near and an Academy not too far. If you know you are going to spend some time there they can head to Bass Pro but it's about 10 minutes or so away. HTH! |

There is a hobby Lobby out that away close by I think....I do not live on that side of town. |

That Joanne's is a good one. It is just a bit further down the I-10 feeder road. Also, if you want to drive a few miles further west there is a pretty good outlet mall in Katy (that's where the Bass Pro Shop is). And if you have kiddos there is a Rainforest Cafe there, too. | |

We are actually going to Moody Gardens in Galveston. They would be happy to go to an outlet mall for a little while. I think I will drop them there and then go to archivers. Thanks for the info!

If they don't get enough of outlet shopping at Katy Mills (although that doesn't seem likely since Katy Mills is so huge) there's a brand new outlet center that just opened on I-45 in Texas City, that you could hit on the way back to Galveston.
