Yeah, I wouldn't want those.

I tend to prefer either quiet or something more relaxed, soft, or easy listening.

Well, anything I don't personally care for is straight up there: rap, r and b, gospel stuff (regardless of genre), COUNTRY, and basically anything I wouldn't put on my iPod.

Within what I DO listen to: I wouldn't pick anything I hadn't listened to yet. I have a LOT of music I just haven't gotten 'round to yet, but anything new while crafting isn't conducive to my creativity. I'd end up getting bored with crafting and the music all at once. I also don't do well with anything that doesn't have a nice beat to it. I need to dance in my chair, or sing. My techno playlist, my hard rock playlist, or my "current" playlist with a mix of my current fave songs is what I go for. Usually anything I'd play while driving to keep me awake.

I am all over the place with music and can listen to just about anything as long as it isn't too loud and that there's only one radio going at a time. At home I usually have the TV on.

ha! fun question. i actually hosted a little crop at my house a couple wknds ago and my friend put on that boy band, one direction. i hadn't really ever paid attention to them much before, but they were sure fun to scrap to in a group setting like that.

when i'm home alone scrapping i tend to not have anything on, but that's just because i've gotten out of the habit of listening to music anywhere but in the car. a friend introduced me to mumford and sons last week and i was listening to them last night though. i might be turning over a new musical scrapping leaf here!

My husband's nerdcore stuff. It's just not my style. I mainly listen to country and some top 40. I'll either just hit play on Google music or I'll turn on my xm radio. I'll also listen to holiday music. So if DH is home and I need music it's holiday, but 90% of the time I have Sportscenter or MLB Network on.

Now that I'm here, I have nothing clever to say!

Anything but country! I had a friend at a crop playing almost all country, I finally had to plug in my earphones to listen to my own tunes.

And her singing along with her music did not help.

But she is such a sweet lady in all other respects, so it was not too annoying.

I like a bit of almost everything. I don't like listening to a ton of anything. I went to a crop where they played Shania Twain. I like her but not for 10-12 songs in a row.

I just recently this summer starting listening to music through earbuds at retreats (the only time I scrap now). My go tos are:

The Refreshments
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes
Flogging Molly
Pearl Jam

I like upbeat stuff I can bop my head to and sing internally. It's made a difference and I feel more productive and even more creative.

I love listening to classical music when I scrap. So relaxing. Any music with words distracts me. I start singing the songs and can't concentrate on my scrapping!

I'm pretty music picky. I don't like country AT ALL, rap, R&B, jazz, blues, heavy metal, classical, swing, big band, polka...I could go on and on. I LIKE rock, most pop, women's music, top 40, easy listening, 80's, etc. Usually I like to play music I can sing along to while I work in my studio.

If I listen to music while working, I like either standards (Michael Buble, Sinatra, Martin) or oldies on the up beat side.

Honestly, I don't like listening to music AT ALL when I do crafts. I find it very distracting and often, aggravating. I can't craft when I feel that way.

I will also admit that I am picky about music and don't like a lot of it. I don't like country or rap or hip hop or classical or opera. I'm tired of the "oldies".

I don't want to have someone else's taste in music inflicted on me. I can't "put up with it" as I can't ignore music, so it really ruins the time for me. My feelings about music are one of the many reasons I am not a crop person.

I like a little bit country and a lot of Rock & Roll! Give me some Jimmy Buffett, Doobie Brothers, Lynard Skinnard, Merle Haggard, etc. I like something peppy and cheerful.

I guess I needed to read the question better! What I would NOT want to listen to is Rap, Techno, Opera. Anything else I can appreciate. As someone else said 10 songs of 1 artist is a little much. I think the trick is to mix it up so there is something for everyone and nobody as to sit through something they can't stand for long. 1 bad song is a potty break 10 is time to leave the crop.

I don't like any music at all or any tv. I like it quiet because I tend to get really into sbing and I don't like any outside distractions.

My friend puts movies on and watches them while she scraps. I have to do one or the other, not both.

I do not enjoy listening to country, but that said- I live in Alabama! The last few crops I have attended have played country of course. I just deal with it. The LSS is good about playing other music too to mix it up, so I hang in there! I also do not want to hear Christian music, not my taste at all.

I don't really care what music is played as long as it isn't too loud and that there is only one radio/MP3 going at a time. I can't stand when there are 3 or 4 different songs going at the same time.

At a crop...probably the radio.
They have a bit for everyone.

At home, I scrap to quietness.
I love music and I end up singing and dancing to it (not well mind you), so not much gets done in the scrapping area, lol.

Personally I don't think any music should be played at a crop. If you want to listen put in your ear phones. I personally listen to mostly Irish and Gallic music and would rather not listen to your rap, rock or what ever

I wouldn't want to listen to rap, hard rock or dub step. But, I haven't been to a crop where anyone would play that type of music. I have been to a crop where they played gospel music and I couldn't get into that. Then there was one where they listed to a baseball game...I had to put in my ear plugs and listen to my iPhone for that one.

I like pretty much everything else, but have a preference for oldies when scrapping.

I am a music snob so the wrong music will ruin my mood. I cannot and will not listen to country or top 40's. I scrap at home, but if I went to a crop I would have to listen to my headphones. Seriously, the wrong music will do horrible things to me.

My music taste is eccentric and all over the place, but what I like to scrap to: reggae, standards, deep jazzy house, or singer songwriter (I guess people are calling it Americana).
