Hello everyone

sorry for the late posting-with three little kiddos pulling me at every angles I think i got them busy for couple minutes. lol

How was everyone doing with the mid break in catching up? Remember, this is all done at your progress-either slow or faster doing whenever you have time or energy to work on it. No rush.. do you prefer if we have mini break in between the round..Let me know if you do I can put in anther one like week of Christmas.

I haven't heard from Amanda and just send her a peamail.

so this week is all about embellishments--buttons, brads, rhinestones--some of new goodies that are coming out --wood veneers, flair buttons, etc etc, so hard to keep up sometime..
The original Wookiemouse's post has listed ton of idea to store various of embellishments.

when i first started--I had my buttons and brads sorted by colors, then other embellishment as in container that i just sorted thru. then Last year, I went and did color bins route which works ok at first but now it doesn't work that great as I often like to look at others things. I'm tweaking my embellishment this week of how I scraps--I will take before and after pictures..

QOTW #1 : To keep Amanda's Creative Me Happy--Did you create anything last week?

QOTW#2: Do you have a favorite storage for your embellishment?

QOTW#3: Do you prefer to have tons of embellishments or small amount to use up in couple layouts? Why?

and for fun: QOTW#4: What is your favorite thanksgiving food?

I just finish two of my layouts last week.

QOTW#2: Do you have a favorite storage for your embellishment?
my favorite is the spice jars that store my brads and eyelets.

QOTW#3: Do you prefer to have tons of embellishments or small amount to use up in couple layouts? Why?

I'm finding that i prefer small amount as new goodies come out and it's hard to buy that newer goodies when i still have large stash sitting in my bins.

and for fun: QOTW#4: What is your favorite thanksgiving food?
my favorite is stuffing.

have a happy thanksgiving everyone. If i get a chance, I'll post pictures of my before embellishment area.

QOTW #1 : To keep Amanda's Creative Me Happy--Did you create anything last week? A Veteran's Day LO, and I played around with some ideas for mg DGS's book, but didn't finish anything in it yet.

QOTW#2: Do you have a favorite storage for your embellishment? It's all over the scraproom.

QOTW#3: Do you prefer to have tons of embellishments or small amount to use up in couple layouts? Why? I don't know, but probably tons. Although I have some "go to" items, a lot of my embellishing depends on so many factors like color, the size of the area to embellish, and sometimes even the theme. I have tons of embellishments, especially if you count the stamps, which were what I used all over that Veteran's Day LO.

and for fun: QOTW#4: What is your favorite thanksgiving food? I pretty much like all of it if it is cooked right.

haha just realize i say Christmas instead of thanksgiving...I must have been thinking of chrismtas..

I started sorting my brads into colors right now--they are are in a large jar which is ok but afterwhile it was getting on my nerve trying to find two or three of same colors brads to use on layout which take up time. so I have decide to sort them by colors and any design brads such as heart shapes, flower shapes, star shapes etc. will be store in my embellishment case.. so this will take a bit to do.
