So I go to Church Sunday and our Minister has a sermon about Jews and how we need to witness to them and save them from their beliefs about Christ.
I walked about half way through the sermon. Man, sometimes I HATE small southern towns I mean I know our crime rate is low but I do not want to hear that kind of shit!!
Am I the only Christian who thinks we might want to be really nice to Jewish people why ? because they might be directly related to Christ I mean how bad would that be to be mean or try to save Christ 42nd cousin by marriage you know?
Gosh I'm been yelling at my DH about this and I'm going to change Churches.
WTH? Anyone else ever had a minister with that kind of nerve?
If I have offended anyone I'm sorry but I am mad.. still.

Thanks for walking out. This Jew is pretty happy with what we have been doing for a long, long time, works for us. Yes that's pretty offensive stuff.

You might want to try being nice to us because it is the right thing to do and because getting to know us might be fun and interesting and enrich your life, not because we might have some relationship to your beliefs. |

My boyfriend is Jewish and before I started dating him I knew nothing about Judaism. His family isnt super religious (ex they eat pork  ) Now that I've educated myself and learn from him and his family I think it's a beautiful and wonderful religion/race.
It's hard to to believe that antisemitism is still SO common!
Religion can be such a controversial thing, hence why I usually hate talking about it. I'm not religious but I feel other religions could be educated more about others. |
