Hello.. Yes, I have a wish list here (its a bit long- I think I like too many things). I love a lot of companies. Bobunny, WRMK, American craft, doodlebug, simple stories, jillibean soup.. Hope your week is off to a great start. We have had crazy weather here in the south lately, so internet has been up and down. I was able to get out some this weekend and do some shopping. I have had so much fun!! Just trying to decide if I should mail a little now and the rest later, or let you have fun with one big surprise at the end!!

This week is off to a better start, thank goodness. My girls, Lauren and Faith, were not too affected by the loss of the student last week; but my son, Dalton, was pretty upset. The student we lost was a senior, and so is my son. It is hard to see kids grieve.
As for my girls, they do like school....but hate mornings! I swear sometimes I nearly lose my religion trying to get them to get up and get ready in the mornings. Faith is a little diva, so she changes clothes several times till she get her outfit just right (and she hates to brush her hair!)She reminds me of the books Fancy Nancy! Lauren is more laid back and casual; however, she will not go anywhere till every hair is in a perfect "do"! They are so different.
So glad your trip went well. Hope you took lots of pictures to scrapbook.

My week is off to a good start. I actually have a job interview tomorrow for a part-time job. With my daughter in school from 8 until 2:30 I want to get out a little and earn extra money(extra money is always good). I just need to be able to be home when she is so we will see what happens, wish me luck. Speaking of my daughter she doesn't play hockey but my son has been playing since he was 6 years old and he is now 18-I am the original hockey mom, haha!
Hate when the weather effects internet service, happens up here too! It is scary how much we all rely on internet service for so many things. I hope the weather has calmed down where you are.
Well I'm off to go figure out what to wear tomorrow.

I'm checking in. Been off the board for a few days. Gage had surgery and then a bad spider bite. He is normally super easy to take care of so this has really thrown us off! I think we've had the kid at the hospital maybe 3 maybe times in his almost 16 years. Anyhoo, all is well. Just catching up finally! Hope everyone is good and having a great day.

Hi! We've been at our Dr's office several times this week. No bueno in our household. We are finally getting sick for the first time this season...lucky until now.
My son did just turn 2 and is familiar with Thomas. He got a train table for Christmas/Bday gift from his grandparents but it didn't come with trains, just accessories. He does love the Thomas program and we sing it daily. he is such a boy in regards to loving his cars, blocks, trains...and has lost interest in Mommy's shoes much to his father's delight. 
I am beginning to decorate for Valentine's Day but really only have decorated dish and tea towels. So I suppose I am starting from scratch lol! Do you decorate? What are your fav's?
Omg CHA.....There are some fun new products I'd love to play with. Specifically Tim Holtz's new Distress Paints & papers. And the new 3x4 WRMK punch perfect for Project Life. I love the new Project Life mini albums from Amazon. Rain would be perfect for scrapping our beach vacation last year. Heck any of the colors are perfect.

timeforcupid, I looked through the pkg of goodies and found the card! LOL I just thought it was an adorable handmade embellishment for a page or something and realized it opened! hahahaha I'm currently working on my gd's scrapbook and can't wait to bust out the pink ink. I haven't inked anything yet but have LOTS more to do. I think I have about 10+ pages done and so, so, so many pics to do Thanks again... can't wait to hang up the banner cuz I am SO ready for warmer weather! It's about 32 today and it's been 10-15 at night. brrrr....... I just can't get warm! | |

Thank you so much for your comment about teaching. I truly love it. I can't think of anything I would want to do. Right now, I am teaching third grade. I had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. Last year I lost 60 pounds, so this new years I got myself a personal trainer and she is killing me. LOL. | |

I haven't heard from mine in a while either I think it may be because she never got a reply to her pea mail to me?? I looked to see when it was that she pea mailed me and I have no sent messages at all in my sent folder. I've sent a lot of messages, but there aren't any there. Now I'm worried that my messages aren't going out. Has anyone else had this issue, or is this a case of operator error? Wouldnt surprise me a bit to have it be the latter!  | |

Hiya timeforcupid I'm barely staying warm here! We are having temps of around 15 and I'm just saying...I hate it!! I'm so ready for longer days with sunshine and heat!! I should never live in this part of the country! LOL My bones are tired of being cold and never feeling warm enough...lol
As for personal things (I think that's the question...I seem to have forgotten already) I love soft & snuggly socks or anything soft and snuggly that will keep me warm this time of year. I wear my cowboys boots all the time as I can wear the thick soft socks to help them fit better so anything like that is awesome. I have pierced ears and love small earrings (can't wear anything big or too dangly at work). I can't think of anything in particular, I'm pretty simple and easy to please | |

I just sent out a mssg on here but it didn't go through  so I'm rewriting lol. Speaking of, I never did get emails but that's ok. As far as getting sick.. Nope! we've been just fine. We usually don't get sick anyway so I wasn't worried. hmm some extra things to add: colored ink sprays or just colored ink. I can always make my own as long as I have the ink. Diamond glaze glue is something I've been searching for in the stores but no luck. I think that's on my list though. And anything shabby chic I especially love in the bead isle those big chunky jewelry embellishments they are hard to miss. Kind of shabby chic looking and antique at the same time.. I think that's on my list too lol but I love them or the plain jewelry pieces that have indentations in them where you can create that glazed over piece with beads or paper under it. That's my new thing. But other than that.. I'm good I think thanks for checking in with me I'm so excited to get my first swap package

My job interview went well and I start next Wednesday! How's that for dumb luck, one interview one job offer! I am excited about getting back into the working world but that little voice inside my head keeps wondering what I am going to do with my daughter in the summer. Seeing as summer is still a far way I'm not going to stress about it and hope everything will work out! Glad you are having fun shopping, hehe! Hi girls... My husband had the flu all week but is feeling finally better. My Grandpa died Wednesday and his funeral is today. I do not if I will attend the actual funeral as they are just too sad and I don't do well at that. I am doing a vendor event tomorrow afternoon with my jewelry. Wednesday my Dad has bypass surgery so as you can see I am staying busy. Just popped a cake in the oven this morning and made homemade rolls last night | |

It sure is cold here, the wind is blowing everything around. How is it there?
Do you do anything special for Valentines? I like to decorate a little bit. Hopefully at a up coming all day crop, I will get a few Valentine cards made to send out to family. How about you, do you make cards?
I do enjoy it.
My mom got a tablet for Christmas and she still has yet to figure it out, so today I am off to set up her wifi and get her going. At least I hope so.

The weather here has finally settled down some and we have had a couple of beautiful days. I went with my son Friday to tour a college campus (and actually did not cry!!) so our weekend has been good. I am excited for him, but hard to face the reality of where the time has gone.
I have made cards before and it was really fun. We have a teacher at school who teaches them, so I am just beginning to learn. My only problem is that they were so pretty I wanted to keep them all!
My favorite treat is Snickers, 3 Musketeers or Kisses. The girls like Dum Dums and Blow Pops (or other lollipops). We love cupcakes too. I am so excited about my package since this is the first swap I have done.

I have so far had a nice MLK weekend. I took off Friday from work because my friend and I went to a scrapbooking retreat. I need to post the layouts soon. I got about 20 pages done, I would have done more but I am allergic to pine trees-which sucks for living in Texas. So I didn't feel the best time but I had fun. Tomorrow though I go for a root canal.... ahhh. I have never had cavities and such so when I went and they said I needed a root canal I panicked. I hope its not to bad. The weather is going back and forth from cold to hot. Thats Texas for you. How is your weekend? | |

hope you are doing well! it has been so busy around here! my son turned 9 & just had his party yesterday...20 kids running around my house...omg...i'm tired! lol! this is the 4th year he's had a bug/reptile person come & bring their critters for the kids to play with! they had a blast! can't wait to develop the pics!
