Happy Monday Princess Amore and thanks for the well wishes on my new job! Used that as an excuse to shop for some new clothes!!! As for colors I am scrapping now, trying to catch up with Christmas and with Valentine's day coming red & white always work, but anything you see that you like will work(remember one for the ss one for you!) I love washi tape so any colors/prints would be great, thanks for asking. I hope you have a nice, warm week because our week here is going to be a very cold one!

Dove - I have a little dog name Bryn but I don't scrap him much. I would love some medical school related items - or science stuff to scrap my older son's journey. I know there were a couple of science lines lately so anything like that would be great.
I know right - no hot beverages and no smelly stuff - but I do LOVE chocolate and vintage stuff -

Hi ASecretSis2Shari - Hope your week is going well!! It is FREEZING cold here. My son hasn't been to pre kindergarten since last Wednesday. Every morning he is heartbroken because he can't go to school!! (I hope that lasts but I know I'm dreaming!!). Is it cold where you are?
Have you been crafty much lately? Do you scrapbook? If so - what type? Kids, pets everday life? I mostly scrap my son and haven't gotten into Project Life. I am so far behind on Max I can't start something else!!

Does your little Bryn like any certain treats or toys Does he wear clothes?? I have a Chihuahua. She has a crooked Foot. And a pair of red Christmas Pajamas that make her oh so happy. Can't say much more or I might give myself away!! Last night I typed a big message to you and sent it under my real name. So very glad I caught it.
Chocolate and Vintage, Medical and Science Scrappy Stuff. No Stamps, What about mists or sprays? Paper Flowers? Would you mind if I threw in a few handmade goodies as well?

It's cold where I am too. Our overnight temps have been in the minus column a few times this past week, but I hear that we will be warming up soon (at least in the day time) which will much improve our air quality. (Cold air inversion makes for bad air.)
Don't want to give away too much else; no kids at home anymore but I do have pets.
Hope the weather warms up for you soon...
Your package will be going out sometime early next week -- I have a trip scheduled for the end of the month that will last until after the due date, so I'll need to get it to you early - but at least that way you'll be able to enjoy your Valentine stuff for a bit longer!

Hey there Ms. Dove - no clothing for little Bryn but of course he loves his treats. So glad you asked about the mists - I would love to have some - been reading and seeing so much about them lately. Any kind of flower is great. And handmade is especially lovely. I like to cook but not to bake and I love to travel. This year we are off to Bend, OR, Kansas City, Boston and Napa.

Hi Terri! Everyone needs a day off now and again I agree with you about other people driving in bad weather. I was in a bad accident in college in a storm. I was at a stop and the people that came up behind me were not paying attention and couldn't stop. I was hit by 3 seperate cars. It was bad. So, I have the same theory as you. Wanted to do some scrapping today, but I have been cleanjng instead. Still want to put one more order in for your box. Glad to hear you did not cry and embarrass your son college shopping. Just save it all up for the day he does go. Oh ma, will be what he says. . Time does fly, doesn't it.
I am glad you like card making, I sure enjoy it, but the rule is make two, one for future reference and one to give away.
I only have one more thing to get for your package. This has bee fun.
It has been so cold here, tomorrow there is supposed to be an ice storm in the morning for, rush hour will be rough. Maybe my car will be frozen in the garage, that sounds like a good excuse to call in with, but I know my conscience will have me leaving at 4 in the morning to get to work.
This past week was crazy at work. We lost our whole afternoon shift, one on vacation for 2.5 weeks, one for surgery and one quit. We have been working all kinds of shifts to cover. We all almost cried when the midnight girl, hurt her back and called in. Luckily it was only for one night. We have an agency person and a contingent to train now, so the end is in sight, kinda.

TXteacherCupid---- OMG.... I was so excited when I opened my door yesterday and there was your package. I love everything. I am so excited to scrapbook. I don't even know how to say thank you enugh. I was opening the stuff with my mom, and I think she got tired of me say... "oooohhhh.. look at this. oohhh look at this one." LOL. I loved it all. Also, when I got to the movie, I thought to myself, "strange, she knows me so well." I know you probably picked that movie because of other reasons but its super funny. I love, I mean love Rock hudson and Doris Day. So funny that you got that movie for me. I can't wait to watch that movie. I am going to have a Pillow Talk weekend next week.
When I scrap with some of your gifts, I will let you know. I am so excited to get working. WOO HOO. Thank you again for everything. |
