I hate having to style long wet hair instead of just walking out the door, followed by not being as physically strong as your average man.

I think the monthly mess is the worst!

Five years ago, I would have said it was the monthly hassle. Now, I would say peri/menopause. Hot flashes, migraines, bladder issues, insomnia, and irregular periods. Yippee Kay-Aye! I keep telling me doctor to feel free to take it all out and I haven't had any luck.

Toss up between Aunt Flo and dealing with car salesmen/car repair people. They have always talked to my husband instead of me and when they do deal with me, it's always condescendingly. We've walked out of more than one place because of it.

Hair removal. I wish I only had to remove hair from my face.

I hate the time it takes to remove it, the cost that comes with removing it, and the pain of removing it.

These big ol' 34DDs strapped to my chest and being the size of an 8 year old. My three year old DD is already over half of my height The hair thing too. My hair is really thick and wavy, so I look like a hot mess if I don't blow dry and flat iron it. Now that it's longer it is starting to weigh itself down though. I can let it air dry and it doesn't look that terrible

The hair and primping thing is a pain, but that's a choice we make. We could choose short hair and no make-up. But, the monthly visitor...can't get rid of that, so it gets my vote.

The assumptions by boneheaded salesmen that I can't make independent decisions - especially about cars or electronics - or that all I care about is the color of a car or equally superficial details of electronics.

Other than that, I enjoy being a woman. My period doesn't even bother me, but I'm pretty lucky. It lasts three days, is light and I don't get cramps/PMS.

Having to sit down to pee in a public restroom. On the other hand, did y'all know that men's rooms don't have those paper seat covers?! S/O was absolutely floored that we have those in ladies' rooms! Of course we can only buy boring old tampons in our restrooms, while they get the good glow-in-the-dark condom selection.

I don't know. I think I like being female and will take the good with the bad. And my periods are no walk in the park, but I still wouldn't trade them for being a man. It must be really disconcerting to be ruled by an appendage!

Ok, it's hard for me to but this in words without being too wordy,so I will try to make a long story short! Being looked at like a "victim" all the time. Hate that! I also hate that people don't want their girls to date, but with boys, just go for it! Think it makes it so unfair to girls. I think parents should have the same rules for their sons and daughters. And I hate people who joke that they will have their guns out when the boy comes to pick up their daughter! Why not have the guns out when a girl comes to pick up their son! (The way some girls dress, I think they are more aggressive than boys are).

I also don't like the fact that it's so easy for my husband to get ready. Wash his hair and he is good to go. For me it's styling hair, make up, nails, etc.! But I will say that me and a few friends say our husbands take longer to get ready than we do!

I hate my period.

I dislike that I have had to work twice as hard to be taken seriously, both at work and at school.

I hate the fact that strong women are seen as "bitchy," while strong men are seen as "assertive."

I hate the fact that I'm expected to be the "nurturer" and the one to make sacrifices just because I'm a woman, and that I'm perceived to be "selfish" if I want to focus on myself and my career.

I hate the fact that people are "horrified" that I don't want to have kids and evidently that makes me a soul-less creature.

Not being taken seriously.

The advantage men have when their wives help them with things like typing, proofreading, research, keeping the house and kids running. It is almost like we are not competing on a level playing field.

Being held to a high standard for parenting and emotional intelligence. I've always thought I make an average mother and women, but I would be thought of as a superior, sensitive father and man because society's standards are so much lower.

Also the period and boob thing.

Aside from the monthly visitor, it's the sheer amount of grooming required for us to be presentable. My husband showers, shaves and throws on his clothes. He towel dries his hair and rubs a little styling paste in it and he's done.

I have to shower, shave legs, pits and bikini area, make sure eyebrows are waxed and kept up with, keep upper lip and chin waxed (yay 40), apply makeup, blow dry and style hair, and put on clothes that are often much less comfortable and more restrictive than comparable professional clothes for men. I need to spent part of my weekend once a month or so getting my hair colored (longer if it also needs to be cut) because women aren't considered "distinguished" when they start to gray.

I know there are guys out there who have elaborate grooming rituals or who choose to wax/shave something other than their face, and women who simply choose not to go along with what society expects of us, but the average 40 year old woman probably spends 4 times as much time on necessary grooming as her 40 year old male counterpart.

The fact that we still do most of the household chores and that it is harder for us to juggle career and family obligations. Also that the female ideal of beauty takes so much more upkeep.

without a doubt, it was getting a period every month for 40 years. Now that I no longer get one, the thing I hate the most is having a stretched out middle and saggy breasts from childbirth and aging.

Periods, definitely. But also this ongoing myth, perpetuated byWOMEN, that all females like pink, makeup, fashion etc. and take hours to get ready!

Sorry folks, but I'm up & out in a morning in 5 mins. I have far better things to do with my weekends than colour my hair and preening is what peacocks do, not me!
I am a believer in women's equality, but with that comes women accepting themselves for who they are not what they think 'society' thinks they should be!
