Miracle on 34th Street (the one with Natalie Wood - prefer it in B & W).
It's a Wonderful Life.
A Christmas Carol, 1938, staring Reginald Owen.
Scrooge, 1970, a musical version staring Alex Guiness. My kids loved this one when they were small, I'd have to play it at least once a day for weeks before Christmas day.

Years ago there was always a heap of "made for TV" type chritmas movies that were screened every year. Sadly, they don't get shown any more. In fact most stations here hardly have any Christmas stuff on any more, except a few cartoons. Very sad - I always liked those cheesy, feel good movies.

Christmas Vacation followed by the first part of Elf--about 3/4 of the way in, I always lose interest.

I could not possibly choose just one. I have a huge collection of holiday DVDs -- probably 35 or so -- and I watch them all every year.

Included in there are Christmas episodes of TV shows and sitcoms from years gone past. (Back in the day of the VCR I used to tape those episodes and I kept all of them on a couple of different VHS tapes then eventually transferred them to DVD.)

I'm know. I'm a geek!! LOL! But I still love the holiday episodes of various TV shows!!

Bring me that horizon!

Christmas Vacation!

A good friend of mine has NEVER seen it. So... we are getting together with her and her DH for a segway tour of the Christmas lights downtown followed by a Christmas Vacation viewing at our house. Can't wait!

Fred Claus
Family Stone
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (with Jim Carrey)
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (the cartoon we all watched as a kid)
Frosty the Snowman
The Santa Clause movies
Four Christmases
The Perfect Holiday

I love Christmas movies!

I've never cared for A Christmas Story, at all.

This is Texas. We don't have regular seasons here. We have Summer 1, Summer 2, Summer 3 and January.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the cartoon one) and Little Women. I know Little Women (the 1994 one) isn't really a Christmas movie, but that seems to be the time of year when I really want to watch it, LOL.

Christmas Vacation is #1! Followed by Elf, then probably Home Alone, the claymation Rudolph and Miracle on 34th Street.

I don't like A Christmas Story. Please don't throw anything at me.
