There are some gorgeous papers that a girl on etsy is selling that I can't find anywhere else. (think shabby vintage tiny floral) I have never digital scrapped before, and really, I would be just downloading, so I can print it off on my computer. As I still want to physically scrap it.

So, first, do I need a really nice printer, to be doing this? (I have a HP photosmart C5280 all in one )

Second, does it go through an insane amount of ink?

Any certain cardstock work better than others?

Do I need to let the paper dry for so long?

Do, you, as a digital scrapper, download to print off, alot? Any tricks of the trade?

Is there any other threads you can point me to? If this question has already asked?

Would love love some insight from those peas who have, been there, done that.

I digi scrap a fair bit. I do not print paper because the ink it uses far outweighs what a similar piece of paper would cost. Printer ink is horribly expensive especially color ink. Think about it...there's a couple of ounces of ink in a cartridge that sells for $12-$15 a pop. That's almost $1,500 a GALLON!

It actually is more cost efficient to send digital LOs somewhere to have them printed instead of printing yourself.

You would want to use a heavier paper to handle all the ink. If the paper is too thin, it will warp.

The more colors that have to be printed the longer your paper should dry.

You could also post or search on the digital scrapbooking board.
