I just ordered a cannon printer and I usually print my photos online or in store but have decided since I got a new printer maybe I should just print at home. Can anyone tell me what photo paper is good I would like to print good quality photos maybe even close to lab quality if possible? Thx

I print at home a lot!! I use canon or hp paper. Premium advanced photo paper is what it is called, I believe. It's frequently on sale buy one get one free at office max and office depot. whatever you do-don't get photo paper from Costco!! The ink was coming off the paper onto my hands when I tried to save money by using that paper.

You will always get the best results using inks and papers made for your printer - in your case Cannon

FWIW - I have NEVER had any problems with the costco papers like the previous poster described and I have used it quite a bit. I do always use the ink specific to my printer - never generic (mine is an HP)
