I think for me, it would be Perfect Pearls from Ranger HERE

using these powders are another reason I fell in love with my TH distress inks

Anyone else?

I still like the look of a ripped paper edge (inked or not).

I've always wanted to try Perfect Pearls!

Mine is Glossy Accents (another Ranger product), which gives die cut titles or images you stamp and cut out a more dimensional, finished look. The downside is that they can take a while to dry.

While I love Thickers, I think Basic Grey makes some awesome chipboard letters, particularly when they do them in the smaller fonts. You get far more of each letter than any other brand and the quality is wonderful.

do the Sakura Gelly Roll Pens dry up easily? As in how long do they last?

I love Gel pens but they always become unusable in a short time span.

Colored pencils, embossing/modeling paste, ink. So much you can do with these things, but don't often see them used, or only with the one same technique.

For those seeking info, search "Ranger Ink Perfect Pearls Tutorial" and put on a pot of coffee!

The supply I love that few mention is Viva Decor Inka-Gold metallic paints. I'll never again spend $9 on a leafing pen that may or may not work, when I can just use a swipe of this amazing stuff.

Perfect Layers. It's right up there with scissors and adhesive for me. I use them for pretty much every layout I do. If you don't know what they are, google them. They are amazing.

Yes. Hello!! (getting up on my pedestal)

Brass stencils/templates from lasting impressions. I fear they may be about to go under, and they're downright magical... They need a design team!!!!! and they need to get away from using their own papers when they dry emboss! They need to use cardstock instead. Yes, there's a bit of a learning curve cuz you can't see through the cardstock, but if you have the wax paper to make the stylus glide smoothly, you can easily get the hang of it. I have taught lots of classes, and once people get the hang of them.... they love em!

And please..I'm not bragging here, but look at my stuff! My gallery here on two peas. I feel I do decent work. (it's cutesy, hey, I've tried other styles, but) ..

But I am just imagining if someone who does all that gorgeous shabby work? Like, melibean? Or cherryschubilee? Or some of the other shabby scrappers out there... if they got ahold of those templates? OMG, the brass stencil world would explode from awesomeness. They would make my stuff? Look like a child did it.

Let alone, I have so many ideas on new brass templates. And no, they're not too expensive. The amount of money people spend on one stamp? I can take one brass template and show people 5 different ways on how to use them, or mix and match. (use a partial element of one stencil, and add it to another element of a different stencil)

So yes, I sound all ... up in arms, but I feel like a technique and product I love is about to disappear. They're not releasing as many new templates, and the stores just don't carry them like they used to.

(that's my drama filled angst post for the day)

So yes, please! Some awesome shabby scrapper, get ahold of them, and ... do your magic!

Thanks for the kind words niko.

I think, just about every thing in my gallery, is made w/the brass templates, ... the santa, snowman and gingerbread on the band aid tins, the cupcakes on the tags. You can tell as most of the little pieces, are raised around the edges. Hope that makes sense. Yep, there are only a few items in my gallery that are not made using a brass stencil/template. I think one if those button flower tags, and then some older stuff... a few are paper piecings only.

One of my favorite techniques is to stamp images on watercolor paper and then color them in with watercolors (crayons, pencils or papers). I can take these along when traveling and then use the colored images on cards, tags, layouts, etc. I

I also use Copics and Twinkling h2os to color the images, but they take up a bit more space when traveling.

To the poster above me, I am also a template fan. I was a card maker before I scrapped and the brass templates were something I got addicted to way back when. I haven't used them in a while though...time to get them out again!

I've always loved my perfect pearls...it's glimer mist on steroids...not quite glitter...just a beautiful sheen of pretty

luckily we can buy the stuff at big box stores w/coupons, so don't break the bank in one fell swoop

to the one who said you can make glimmer mist? yes!!! if you visit the TH tutorial website, he gives you step by step instructions on how to make your own

happy crafting gals
