ok, besides world peace...

is for someone to come in and make my scrap room gorgeous! Organized, decorated, etc. I'm kinda tired of all the layouts sitting in piles, stamps in baskets, scraps of paper on the floor. Wouldn't that be so nice?

what would be one thing you could add to your scrap room if you had a bunch of money to do it? (I don't, but it's fun to dream!)

-I'd probably put in cabinetry. I have some cabinets for my desk--it's a kitchen counter top and cabinets--and I love them! It would be so nice to have more!

The one thing I would add to my scraproom is.....a scraproom! I don't have a dedicated space but I would love one.

Me too!

And if I had that scraproom, I would definitely want 5x5 Expedits to hold my albums on.

A technology specialist who understands my scrapbooking needs who will appear, at a moment's notice, follow my instructions to the letter (or improve on them) then produce the item (photoshopped pic, perfectly cut title, whatever) and disappear in a puff of smoke until needed again.

I would love a bigger room with counters so I can sit or stand to scrap. More storage space and better lighting.

I'd love to have a scrap room instead of just a small corner. To start with I'd like a big table to work on, lots of lighting, plenty of cabinets and shelves with little jars for things small colorful things like beads. I'd also like a sink so it would be easier to clean up after messy things like painting.

Ah, journey fan, I love those expedit too and saw your blog post mentioning the tv expedit. Unfortunately I can't find one of hte tv ones with the hole in the center like the one on your blog. The one I can see on Ikea now is off to the left or right and is a much bigger hole.

Any ikea regulars that can say whether the center holed one is "extinct"?

Since I share my scrap space with our guest room, my wish would be to get rid of the bed and fill that whole wall with open and closed cabinets for storage. The more storage there is the better to get and stay organized. Also, a large surface work space to spread everything out when I'm crafting.

The right decor to make it all pop. I have the furniture and the walls are a nice sage w/purple trim. It needs to come together, though.

I'd add better overhead lighting. This doesn't sound like much but my space is in our guest room which has a vaulted ceiling. Adding overhead lighting would require fishing or ripping out sheet rock to get the wiring in. Just getting more wiring up there from the basement would be time consuming, too. The room has great windows that provide fantastic light during the day but the room is a challenge at night.

I have one of my walls lined with expedits.

I would love to have a bigger desk or maybe 2 work spaces so I could leaves projects out.

I have plenty of storage, but some of it is wasted and could be better organized.

I would love a big desk with drawers instead of using the dining table with magazine holders for stickers and glass jars for tools. Plus amazing overhead lighting.

I would also like an Expedit but we have so little wall space in this house there is nowhere to put one.

We are going to try to move this Spring so a late Christmas present would be perfectly acceptable

a dedicated scrap space and a kit subscription.

Sounds like I could create a niche for myself as a designer to the scrapbookers of the world, specializing in storage and organization

Willing to work for scrappy supplies of course! haha

I would love cabinetry!

And a table I could stand at with a high stool to sit when I felt the need. I don't like standing and bending over.. blah.

And better lighting!

I would like to put on another addition to expand the size of my scraproom and then have custom cabinetry to house everything. I would also love an island to scrap at. Then to have someone come in and set everything up in an orderly fashion.

I can dream...

I would like a window so I could gaze out at the garden.

I have a basement scrap space now. In my previous place I had my desk under a nice big picture window facing the back yard overlooking the pool. I loved to look out at the snow in the winter or the pool in the summer. Birds were abundant.

I have the cabinets and counters. I'd ask for a larger room and more sunlight. I only have one small bedroom window.
My hope is one day (when all my kids are grown and gone) to take over the livingroom for my scrapbook room. The sunlight in there is phenomenal.

I would love to have a bit more space so I could move the work table and storage that are on one wall into the center of the room. I also wish the closet was more open. I took the sliding doors off and replaced them with curtains, but there is a bunch of wasted space at each end that could be more accessible.

As for stuff, I don't need anything nor do I wish for anything else!
