This is my first road trip with my iPad and it is so cool to be able to pea as we drive from Little Rock, AR to Austin, TX.
As much as I think technology has downsides for our society, I have to admit that being able to pea, pin and stay in touch with friends and family while riding as a passenger is way cool.
I am thinking this deserves a photo and a layout.
Have any of you scrapped about using your technology? |

That's a great idea. It will be fun to look back at years from now. Technology is constantly changing so who knows what we have available to use in even 10 years from now? |

That's how I feel about my phone. I'm way calmer now when I have to wait in a pick up line, for a therapy session, or on a road trip. I can read books, listen to music, pea, Facebook...with a single device. The most appreciative I've ever been for it though, was when I broke my knee and had to have surgery in a strange city. I was able to keep up with some friends, get emails, and text, and keep notes on what was going on right from my bed.
Changed. my. Life. |

SadieGirl3,
You know, I usually can't read in the car either or I get nauseated, but for some reason the iPad is different. I had no trouble peaing and surfing and emailing for hours!
I took a photo of the iPad open to 2Peas with the windshield and traffic ahead. Looking forward to scrapping it!
Glad I could make you laugh, jaimeelynn.
SDeven, I know what you mean. I took DH to the dentist today for his root canal. He told me it would be an hour (ok, I didn't buy that, but I certainly didn't think it would be more than 2 hours). It took almost 4!!! As it turns out, the dentist was working on other patients as well so DH sat there with his mouth propped open almost the whole 4 hours! Had I not had my iPad with me, I would not have been at all happy about such a long wait. (Had I been the one in the chair, I would have been making some noise about the multi-patient plan!)
I also took photos with the iPad over Thanksgiving and am thrilled at the quality. I was able to get some great shots of the DGDs (who are usually blurry in photos because they never stop moving!). Yay! |
