I injured my back in 2010 and I kept going to Dr.and they kept on saying it was just muscle spasms and a bulging disc .I did file for workmams comp and got lifetime benefits .After 2 years I went to a pain management and told them I couldn't stand the pain they did a discogram and I had 2 ruptured disc and had surgery in July .
they started paying me while I was off and then all of the sudden they stopped and quit paying my medical bills also not all of them but some .I kept calling and they would not return my calls .I left tons of messages and finally got a attorney .I found out that I only got medical on the lifetime benefits and no wage loss .My Dr says I have permanent damage so I am going for fce on the 6th and I have a hearing with workmans comp on the 18th .My lawyer feels that I am too late to do anything .there is a two year to file for wage loss and I think the dr I was seeing was trying to hold me off to do anything .If I hadn't switched to a pain management they would not of done anything my Pt says the reason there is so much damage is because they waited too long to do surgery any one have any experience or advice for me .I am still off .I have lost my health insurance since I have been off so long but will get cobra.
