How long are eggs good? I'm craving brownies, but our eggs are questionable.

Put them in a bowl of water. If they float they're bad. Otherwise, I think you'll be okay.

What do you mean by questionable?

If they have been refrigerated, they can last a long time. Quality will suffer (they will start drying up) but they won't make you sick.

I often use them for a month or two after the date on the carton. So sue me.

I've used mine at least one month past the date on the carton. I've not been sick yet!

Eggs last a LONG time. Use the float test, it works well.
