Has anyone shopped with them before? I placed a pre- order for some sn@p stuff back In the very first week of October & I still haven't received my order!!!!! The collection was on sale at every other place by the 12 Th. except for this company.. Supposed there was "delays" after "delays" and so on.. I hardly ever shop anywhere but twopeas but I knew the sn@p collection would be popular and maybe sell out fast so I wanted to make sure I got first pick! Anyways so on there website it said that all the preorders for snap will be shipping by the end of November by the latest that the order is on its way to them now.. Well it has been saying that for at least 2 weeks so I check the status of it yesterday & now it has changed to early december ship date. ARE YOU SERIOUS????? From the very beginning I was supposed to have it by the end of October & it keeps getting pushed back by them! I'm starting to believe its stopandscrap not SS there's now way every site has had it for almost 2 months now and they don't .. It's past the 45 days so I can't get a refund from PayPal and I emailed them 3 days ago and haven't heard a response yet.. Last time I emailed them they told me I stuff would ship mid November ! Ugh, this is so annoying! My question is has anyone shopped with them before & if so what was your experience? Did you get your items & did it take forever ?

NEVER AGAIN! Twopeas or bluemoon I'm done with bad customer service! It happens way to often!

I no longer pre-order from them. It took them a month or so to get me my pre-ordered cha stuff last time after two peas started shipping the same stuff. Their prices are nice, but really you aren't going to get it very fast. They ship pretty fast if the stuff in in the store, but yeah pre-odering from them sucks

Yea tell me about it! 2 months already and still no order! It has been excuse after excuse with them first they blamed it on the manufactures delays which isn't true, then they blamed it on a family emergency the owners mother got sick which is understandable but at the same time business needs to come first and then they blamed it on the hurricane which normally would be understandable as well but they only lost power for a couple days less then a week no damage or anything else.. I lost mine for 14 days & still found a way to take care of business then they blamed it again on the manufacter they have been saying since the beginning of november that the collection is "on its way" to them "NOW" really since when does it take 4 weeks for a shipment to arrive? I have orderd things from china that has arrived quicker with the slowest possible shipping available! It's them & I'm getting really tried of being patient & not emailing them or complaining but I feel at this point 2 damm months later and still no order i needed to speak up and vent! If they don't answer my email by Tuesday the absolute latest then I will email again but this time I won't be so nice! Ugh, i hate this .. I shouldn't have to go through this much trouble when im the one paying! Utterly annoying & bad business skills!

uh, yea. I don't order from them anymore either.....they are the worst with those pre-orders. It's a joke, actually.

I definitely learned the hard way with this place....they will not get my hard earned $$ ever again.

I also preordered some "snap" items as well as some Echo Park - I as well am VERY frustrated - this is the first (and last) time I will pre-order with them; especially since I can already get the items IN STOCK elsewhere! I wouldn't be quite so frustrated is their "estimated arrival" dates didn't keep getting pushed back!

I would still contact paypal.com and start an investigation. If you used a debit card or credit credit through paypal. They can help you too. If it was through your bank acct. contact your bank they help you get your money back too. Don't give up and good luck. I just had an issue that my bank helped me with.

Yea and that's what REALLY aggravated me is the fact that all the other websites have had the snap collection INSTOCK since 10/12 and its now 2 months later & I still don't have my items! I spent around $50 that's enough of money to be upset over! First time shopper & LAST TIME! It amazes me after hearing all these complaints that there still in business! After a certain amount of time they should have contacted me and told me what was going on and offered two options one to wait forever for it or to cancel and refund my money.. It says on there site that they have all these emails to answer and to not email them unless its necessary. I would love to know what kind of business they have that they are so busy that they cannot answer customers that placed orders? It's insanty I have never seen a company so horrible in my life. Like I said if I don't hear from them by Tuesday the latest with an EXACT shipping date then I will contact PayPal & my bank! Thankfully my bank is great at solving this kinda thing since this isn't the first time I have bought something & never received it! I'm so glad I found twopeas because at least I know I can trust them! Normally I would never put another sm business on blast like this over a public site but enough is enough & I have been extremely patient and I know other people would have flipped out by now so it's a good warning! Grr

Yea I feel the same way if the estimate arrival dates didn't keep changing or there wasn't 50 different excuses I would wait it wouldn't bother me if they were honest from the beginning and said listen we get our orders late and it may not go out until december if I already placed the order I would just wait but to keep changing the shipping dates and coming up with all these excuses.. SERIOUSLY?? Just like the one pea said its a damm joke! If it wasn't my money I might laugh lol ugh, people drive me nuts!

I too ordered from them. I have 2 diff orders waiting shipment. They are the date stamps. One of which I know is in stock here at Peas. Very frustrated. One order says in line for packing. Been that way for weeks. It's not the stamp that I see here. I emailed them on the 27th and got a response back on the 30th. They said I could cancel my order if wanted to. I think I might cancel the back order one and order from someplace else that has them in stock. It's ridiculous!

I know fully what I am getting into when I preorder from them.

Mother in the hospital?
Hurricane?
Manufacture delay?

They kept me informed. I'll be patient.

Sorry it has not been a good experience for you.

BTW...my mother would always come first before any business. I am sure it is the same for the owner. But they did not close, they only slowed down. I don't think that had anything to do with the Snap line not being shipped yet anyway.

Oh, and ask me in another month....then I might change my mind...

Their policy is that you can cancel any pre-order before the product arrives. You can still contact them and get a refund.

I like shopping there. I've ordered from them several times and I've been happy. I agree that if you need something in a hurry, it's not the place to order from. You're better off just finding it at the first available place. I think that Stop and Scrap doesn't place their order until they receive orders, so they are not going to be the first place to receive product.

There are 2 big advantages to ordering through Stop and Scrap. One is that you are assured that you can get the complete line of papers -- one or two aren't going to be sold out. The second is that you can combine orders and save on shipping.

I'm willing to wait in order to shop without worrying somethings going to be sold out and I like the savings on shipping. If I want something in a hurry, I look elsewhere.

My orders have always arrived in good shape and complete. It drives me crazy when I order several items from a place only to receive the box, and find out they didn't have one or more of the items I ordered.

Regarding the storm, I live in their general area. We got power back but didn't have internet service for a LONG time. I didn't see a delivery truck on my street for weeks.

I've ordered from there a couple times. The only time I had a problem was with one line, and from what I understand, that line tends to delay deliveries a lot.
I do think they they get shipped to after some of the bigger online stores, aka two peas......
Emailing them takes a day or two and they even say that on their site as you seen. I even dropped a note on their facebook once because of it. They really are a super small business, 2 married people, one small baby and a helper once in a while.
Although I don't agree that it should take forever to get your stuff, I really haven't had much problem with them except the little delay on email. I'm sure they will give you your money back if you email them and tell them that is what you want.

This is not the case....it certainly wasn't the case the last (and final) time I ordered with them. That's what pushed me over the edge.

I placed a LARGE pre-order, and was actually okay with the INITIAL wait time they told me to expect. Then, that wait time became longer and longer and they stopped answering my e-mails.

THEN, when the order FINALLY showed up, almost FOUR MONTHS LATER, there were items missing. When they finally decided to answer an e-mail, I was told, "oh, sorry....guess we didn't get enough in to fulfill your order". Uh, wait....WHAT? That's why I freakin' pre-ordered....to get it all.

So yea, they lost ALL confidence with me. I get small business and all, but they just haven't proven themselves to be good at RUNNING a small business.

When I first placed my pre order on October 9th the estimate shipping dates were mid - to late october I was ok with that because I wanted to make sure I had the collection i wanted and didn't have to worrie about things selling out... Then I seen the collection hit EVERYWHERE even very small blogs with in a few days ranging from 10!12 to 10/17 so I kept checking the status still the same.. So I figured ok whatever I'm sure it takes time, so by the end of October I checked again and that's when i saw that the mother was in the hospital & that there will be a delay BY 1 WEEK maybe 2 not a big deal again I sympathized with the owners I truly felt bad! So I figured I would get my order In about 2 weeks or so .. Well then the hurricane hit & mind you I live in NJ so believe me when I tell you I have never seen so much devastation in my life I even lost my power for 14days couldn't get gas etc. very horrible so I could understand when they where delayed due to both incidents after a few updates from them on there site they finally posted and said they will have all the snap orders completed and SHIPPED OUT well before thanksgiving.. Ok thanksgiving has passed nothing was shipped checked again said they would have it all done by the end of NOVEMBER the latest due to " manufactures delays" at ths point it's been almost 2 months 12/9 will be 2 months so fine I'm a lil worried but I brushed it off figuring ill have my items soon! I just checked AGAIN a few days ago and now it's not expected to ship untill early to mid DECEMBER! & there reason is because the hospital/hurricane UMM OK? Really because just last week you blammed it on the manufacter .. I understand that things happen trust me I'm very patient person by nature I don't mind waiting 5 months but when you change your story 5 different times and the original wait time was less then a month and has now turned into 2 & still no ship date or items its frustrating! I'm sorry but I would rather stalk twopeas and wait for a collection to hit then ever buy from them again .. & if my mother was in the hospital she would come first as well but I would make sure that at the end of the day my customers were happy because if it isnt for us buying there items they wouldn't have a business ! It just annoys me that I cannot get a straight truthful answer from them ill wait no problem just tell me how long!

I placed an order with them for the very first time on 11/1 of this year. I cancelled the order the very next day because Two Peas had a sale that day and things were actually cheaper on this site than their pre-sale prices, and Two Peas had all the items in stock. I didn't hear anything back from them for 2 weeks and my credit card still showed a charge, so I sent them another e-mail. Another week and a half went by and still nothing, so I sent them ANOTHER e-mail that wasn't as nice as before. They finally cancelled my order on 11/30. It took them 4 entire weeks to respond to an e-mail I sent on 11/2. I understand they had power and family issues, but it felt way too long for an answer. Needless to say, I won't be shopping with them again.

Yes I feel the same way it was my first time pre ordering anything and I was so scared the snap collection was gonna fly off the shelves because its so beautiful! Well I now know that's not the case I do have some time to order.. It's funny too because i hesitated about ordering with them In the first place because the estimate ship times weren't untill the end of October and SS Said they were releasing the snap collection in the first week or so of October, wish I would have listened to my gut! That's a really long Time for them to take to refund you your money! As far as I read on there "updates " the family matter happened in mid October and the hurricane hit on 10/29 they had power up and running by 11/5 I can see them falling behind its understandable but the fact that they said numours times that the snap orders will be well and done way before thanksgiving and it wasn't is insane then they promised it to be no later then the last week in November and now it's early december well it's 12/2 "early december" still no updates.. They don't even have crate paper sleigh bells & I know that collection has been out for a while same with 5th & frolic.. If there so overwhelmed with all the orders then they should consider expanding there business and hiring help ! I would rather pay someone on daily bases even durning slow times then loose customer after customer I mean just look at this thread more then half the comments are from people that have had bad experiences with them.. Some good and I'm glad some of you had no trouble I wish I could say the same I would much rather spend my money at a small business and support them then at a chain! So we shall see what happens & how long it takes to get to me! Ill keep everyone updated on that lol

I stopped shopping there long ago. They've always got one excuse or another for why things are ridiculously delayed.

I was a long time customer who put up with the delays
because I was trying to support a small business. I had hope when the owners said they were bringing on help to provide better service. The problems were not alleviated when they hired this help. Nothing changed.

It is a very poorly run small business, IMO. I do the bulk of my shopping here. I'd rather pay a bit more & actually get what I ordered in a timely fashion.

I just had to file with my credit card. I ordered two days in a row during their October sales, which were suppose to be shipped together, per their website. I received my order but it only contained 1 days order. So i have contacted multiple times and was told it would be shipped. Finally, I had to file with my credit card for the $60 for a missing order.

I've placed some pre-orders with S&S for the first time this year. The two orders from this summer are still waiting for some SC and 5th & Frolic items to arrive, and for CP's Sleighride. I am beginning to wonder when they will show. The third (and latest) order actually arrived today (Graphic 45 and BG).

I don't mind waiting, it's not that I don't have enough supplies to play with in my stash already, but it would be nice to get my new stuff before Christmas (and definitely before CHA!!).

I haven't decided if I'm going to pre-order from them again. It's wonderful to be able to get all you want from CHA in only one or two shippings when you have to pay for super expensive international shipping, no doubt about that. It saves me a lot of shipping money.

On the other hand, I have been very surprised by how late they get the orders from manufacturers. I get that the big stores are probably prioritized over small ones, but still... Should it really take 1-3 extra months for S&S to get their orders in compared to other stores? I don't understand it.

The reason for me to pre-order was that I had tried to get the stuff on my wish list from Two Peas but there's almost always something missing from the collections. When I asked about that, I was told that they don't always buy everything from a collection, and sometimes a few items are missing and get shipped to Two Peas later.

Well, it's not possible for me to sit on my cart here because then some things that I wanted are sold out by the time I'm ready to order. And if I wait for those to be restocked, something else will sell out. So, I have to make many small purchases with expensive international shipping. The items that Two Peas don't have, I have to buy from other online stores - with another round of expensive shipping! Ugh!

The Prima collections this summer was the last straw. I had to order from five or six different stores, in the US and in Sweden, in order to get all the items I wanted from the Prima releases. Imagine the shipping costs for that! That's got to be the most expensive scrapbooking supplies I've ever purchased!

So that's when I decided to try pre-ordering. As I said, I don't mind waiting but of course there's a limit to my patience.

I wish there was a way to reserve (prepaid) items here at Two Peas. That way, I could place an order and pay for it but ask them to hold it, waiting for some more items to get in stock, before sending the box off to me. That would be great!

BTW, I have shopped with Two Peas and other stores on several occasions lately, so pre-ordering my CHA wishlist is obviously not going to freeze my spending between CHA shows anyway. lol!

I was wondering when a thread like this would show up. I've ordered from them for several years now, doing pre-orders and having relatively reasonable wait times. Beginning with summer CHA pre-orders, though, it's been clear that there are problems - from the tone of the updates, it seems the family is simply overwhelmed. Of course, I'm sure we are all sympathetic and wish them the best on a personal level, but speaking strictly as a consumer, my patience is running out. I've been determined not to email them and just wait for my products (ordered three months ago) to arrive, but I'm still shocked at how long it's taking. And, of course, these products are already on clearance at other sites, so there was no benefit in ordering from them. I normally don't post negative things, but I do think it's legitimate to post "buyer beware" threads like this when there are significant issues, so that people can make informed decisions about who they want to do business with.

I've ordered from S&S several times and never had a problem. But, I don't mind waiting for my items. I save a ton of $ and get free shipping since I am on the East Coast. It's not for everyone and if you need your stuff immediately don't shop there. And they always get their items after 2peas and other major stores, so you need to plan accordingly. And they let you cancel your order any time before it ships. So OP you could've easily done that as soon as you saw Sn@p somewhere else.

As I said earlier I don't want to cancel my order I just want my items. I think 2 plus months of waiting wouldn't be an issue if that was the estimate wait time from the beginning! I understand that it takes longer for them to recieve there items vs. twopeas I get that but that's not my issue.. My issue is that they kept saying the items will be all done and shipped by a certain date and in the past 2 months they have charged that and contuined to push the ship dates back with many excuses! It's not the wait time it's the not knowing and the excuse after excuse.. I'm sorry but I don't care what kind of website it may be big or small nobody should have to wait that long for them to ship UNLESS it was all the manufactures fault in this case it is not! Read all the comments above almost every single one is a bad experience with them so I know I'm not the only one! Like I said I would wait 5 months for an item but I don't like being lied to and excuse after excuse when they know whats going on! And the fact that you email them and they either take over a week to reply or they don't at all? No good customer service in my opinion!!!

Did you ever get your items?
I have contacted them seven times regarding my pre-order placed in October. Foolishly, I purchased ALL of my December Daily products from stopandscrap.com.
When the excuses and delays began, I was patient and understanding. I was told by the owner that things would be shipped the last week of November. I convinced myself that if I received the items by the first of December I would be ok and could catch up. No such luck. My package arrived December 7, missing 3/4 of the order. I got some 12x12 pages and a few embellishments. Needless to say, I was furious and in a panic. I emailed them and after FOUR emails the owner emailed me back saying that he had received the SN@p albums on Dec 3 and my remaining order (minus some sleigh ride items) were packaged and ready for shipment.
Well, here it is 11 days till Christmas. I still have nothing. I feel naive for believing in this company. My December Daily is pictures and sketches and I blame stopandscrap.com. The preorder price was not worth the anxiety and stress.

I used to order from stopandscrap.com all the time for the discount prices and the free shipping.

It was convenient for me bc I could make a list after CHA and order all my CHA items in one purchase as opposed to stalking other stores waiting to pounce (and racking up shipping charges) as each individual line came out.

I think at that time I even recommended the site to a few peas who sent me peamails asking where to get free shipping

At that time I didn't have any problems with them.

About a year and a half ago the service started seriously declining. There were longer and longer shipping waits, unfulfilled/incomplete orders, etc. The owners made posts and sent long emails with one story after another - death in the family, birth of a baby, promises to bring in new employees, training issues with new employees, power failures, snowstorms, hurricanes. I'm not sure what to believe. It seems it has only continued to go downhill and I don't order from them anymore.

Traumaqm,
I still haven't received my items yet.. Although they did finally answer my email about a week later blaming that there was manufactures delays and that it will ship in a week! Btw may I mention again the first excuse was the family issues then manuf. then family and back to manuf. seriously how stupid do u think people are? Anyways I checked the status of my order yesterday and according to there site it has been shipped i guess I'll have it soon! But, I feel your pain if they had my DD items I would be completely upset and there would be no stopping me from sending them a really rude email lol.. I just think its ridicules how they run there company and maybe they should give it up already! I know it's harsh but honestly the excuse after excuse is what really gets me not the wait time because I could careless I don't need the products now I'm not going to make an album for a few months its the bs excuses they feed and think that people are really that dumb enough to believe 50 different ones its insulting! I hope you get your items quickly because thanks to them you'll be starting your DD in the spring time!

I have had an order in the "in line for packing" que for over a month and a half. I only have two pre-orders pending with them. One is dated Aug 20th and the other is Sep 25th. I went ahead and ordered one of the items from someplace else. I'm going to cancel that one at SnS as it is still on back-order. It's the studio calico date stamp that says instagram on it. I still want the other stamp that says in line for packing so I will wait and see what happens. I just didn't want to miss out on the SC date stamper. I will never order from them again.

Christine, that's my situation too. One (huge) order from August 17 and one from September 5. The third one from late September was shipped to me on time, in November, though. So it's not a complete stand still over there.

I have made some suggestions on how they can ship at least the items that are packed and waiting in my boxes, but nothing's happened yet. I'm patiently waiting right now, but of course my patience has limits.

I understand that it must be hard with a mother in hospital and the husband taking care of the kids and family in the meantime. They probably have separate day jobs, too? I believe those people mean well (and they used to get very good reviews from the peas) but that they are unable hold up the business under the circumstances.

Sadly, I think they've managed to destroy their business during this year, and I won't likely be ordering from them again until I get guarantees that they have some kind of risk management or plan in place for unforeseen situations like this.

I just hope we all will get our happy boxes from SaS. The sooner the better.

Well it's only been 12 days since I last posted on this thread, but I am ready to jump ship, too.

No more ordering from them again. The week of 12/11 has come and practically gone, and still no shipping showing up on my orders.

And continuing to put out more clearance stuff on a daily basis, is not helping out the situation!!

This morning I got the good news that both my orders are shipped, after 4 months (!) of waiting, with the exception of a few back order items. It's such a relief!

Lesson learned, I'm sticking with Two Peas from now on.

Me too, Margareta. According to the invoices the only thing missing is some Snap cardstock, but the rest should all be in my package.

Not sure if I will shop there again, but I'm over my annoyance, now.

Worst decision of my life! I will never order from them again. Still don't have MANY of the things I ordered. I've asked for a refund- they just ignore me.
I'm beyond frustrated. I ordered everything from their website because I thought it would be easier.
Now I have to fill out a report with my bank in order to try to recoup my money.
Think twice before dealing with them!

I'm sorry TraumaQN.

I know I would feel the same. However, yesterday I got everything I ordered( except the fore-mentioned cardstock). Four orders over a span of 3 months, everything was there. Dodged the bullet this time.

My in line status still has not changed. I emailed, but they have chosen to ignore me and my request. I'm waiting on a Dear Lizzy 5th and frolic date stamp. That is the one that says in line for packing. Why it says that when they don't even have it? My other order was for the date stamp that says instagram on it. I went ahead and got it from someplace else. I want to cancel that order. I will never order from them again!

ETA: I just ordered the 5th and Frolic date stamp this morn. If SNS ends up not cancelling my order and sends me the stamps I will sell them here.

I have never ordered from them and never will now. I can't see how anyone can defend this company while waiting for months for scrapbook stuff... That is crazy!

Wow! I'm so glad you got your money back, but jeez could they have taken any longer! I'm happy to say that I received all of my items I ordered and I will NEVER buy from them again! I noticed on there site that they made some changes I was reading there letter they put out about all the changes and how there going to ship fast and not do this and that and so on, but honestly I think it's a little to late for that .. They should have been doing that from the start and I remember one pea saying that this isn't the first time that they have "promised" to change they way they do things and it never happens! I've had long waits in 2012. Thought I'd not order in 2013, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. With their new site and the fact that each order ships for only $2.00, I'm willing to wait a little longer, but certainly not months. May be a leap of faith - I'll let you know.

I learned my lesson on this one. I had my pre-order in, my money tied up, and learned that the products I had on pre-order at stopandscrap were available elsewhere online. and for less $$$. I'm much too impatient to wait so long for my scrappy goodies.

Well I placed 2 orders with them.
HOping I don't wait months and months.
I am giving them another chance only because of the $2.00 shipping.

I waited about 5 months before the first couple of orders finally arrived last week (the third one went very well and arrived within the expected time frame in November). I don't mind waiting, but that was a long wait. Much longer than expected.

I'm still waiting for a few back order items, and I hope that I can get a refund on those, because I could buy those supplies at my LSS (she's had them in stock for months!).

I believe that the owners are very nice people that mean well and really try to do their best. The problem is that they seem to have a total lack of risk management and are sort of groping around when it comes to general business strategies. Then again, that could be said about several online scrapbooking stores.

AND Stop and Scrap are certainly trying to improve the quality of service right now. With a $2 shipping, I understand customers who want to give them a second chance. As I pay for expensive international shipping, I decline.

I am still very much looking for that 'perfect' online store. If you'd ever happen to find one, please tell me. lol!

I am the person that said if you can't say something nice-----but I just thought I'd let you know I still have 6 items on back order from August, emails took over 2 weeks to be responded to and was only told they are still waiting on my items, will ship when they get them and they have no clue when that will be, never once have they offered a refund they just say will ship when we get these items. It is the Amy Tan stamp, Dear Lizzy stamp and SC 12 by 12 mask, Christmas tree wood veneer and Snowflakes wood veneer I am waiting on. My orginal order took over 4 months to arrive.
