So - here we go. December 1 was yesterday!
I hate when Thanksgiving is early because then I think I have *all this time* to get ready for December!
Our big tree is up and so that of course will be my photo for 12/1.
Today, my photo for 12/2 will be the tree that I decorated for my scraproom using a mix of new *vintage* ornaments from Target AND old glass ornaments that were my grandmothers.
HOW are YOU doing on December Daily? Album set? Working it into DD? What are your 12/1, 12/2 photographs?
I will try to post this thread each day. I did enjoy it last year, and while I am not doing a stand alone DD album, I AM making my December Project Life pages morph loosely into a DD.  |

12.1 was actually hubby and my first date 12 years ago so I journaled about that and pulled an old pic.
12.2 the puppy got her holiday bath and holiday atire from Petco. She was so not thrilled with us.
I've actually been working on pages all day today. I started mine on Thanksgiving and am all caught up and actually have tomorrows page all made, just waiting for journaling tomorrow. | |

12-2 was the tree bare n bins filled with ornaments.

12.01 - got an elf on the shelf, so that was the pic for today
12.02 - pulled the tupperware boxes from out of the basement with the tree in them, so that's the pic for today...
i'm using an ss sn@p album - either red or brown w/ the ss sn@p divided page protectors.

Dec 1--no clue. We were at a basketball game(s) and a birthday party almost all day. No time for DD. I thought I would start day 1 as a list of things that need to get done for Christmas. Bad idea?
Dec 2: not much, just listening to Christmas CDs. Forgot to get a pic of the beautiful Christmas decorations at church this morning. Just beautiful. | |

Day 1~ My son's weekly photo, he's 35 weeks, on side one. Side two is him hanging out at the firestation. I'm okay if not everyday is actually Christmas related.
Day 2~ Photo of The Santa Clause cover. My DH is a Christmas movie NUT, lol. On the other side a picture of my phone showing the temperature, it's crazy warm for December 2nd. |

Ooh Penny this is fun! Thanks for starting the thread.
My album is a SS brown album with divided page protectors. I laid out journaling and page protectors more than once already.....so I am going to let the plan go ka-blooey and go with the flow.
I usually include more than one photo a day and I also signed up for Shimelle's JYC and Maggie Holmes' 25 Days workshops so I will incorporate ideas from both along the way.
Day 1: picking out and decorating the tree. Also cut a large Polaroid frame from PP for a postalpix 9 photo Instagram collage including photos of all the crafty home decor I made this year.
Day 2: pics of my son playing next to the tree this morning under just the tree lights. And journaling about the first signs of Christmas and traditions for JYC in an envelope page.
This is fun!! |

I saw an idea on Facebook PL group that I'm going to try this year. Instead of daily photos going to make a "top 25" of the holiday season. This way I don't really need to worry if I don't get a picture every single day. Takes a lot of the pressure off since I just decided to do this late last week.
I'm using SS sn@p red album and homemade holiday paper. | |

Dec 1 - Our new (artificial) tree, and the story of me having to sit at Home Depot with the tree, while DH ran home with DS to switch cars. My car was too small - oops! 
Dec 2 - A pic of DS holding up the 1st clue for my Mom's scavenger hunt. We were at their house for Thanksgiving, so I hid a couple of Christmas gifts around her house, along with little notes for a scavenger hunt. She got a huge kick out of it this morning! |

I do mine a little differently and make it Christmas/not Christmas related, so
Dec 1 - My aunt's wedding and me at 16 weeks pregnant
Dec 2 - start of our Christmas stories (wrapped books), Advent calendar and some Christmas shopping with my parents. |

I am using my leftover Project 365 page protectors from 2009 for my December Daily.
My Dec 1st pictures were of my tree and decorations. My Dec 2nd picture is of my Christmas cards that I finished writing today. |

I've got my first page up on my blog. Even printed it out on my laser printer, I seem to give up early if I don't print right away. I also have day 2 completed but it's not a fully digital file so I'll be photographing it tomorrow and posting then. HAven't done much holiday wise but I I can wait. |

12.1 - Picture of the box of goodies I got from ABC for our viewing of Elf. Also some journaling about the party we had that night to watch Elf on tv.

My Day 1 is the advent calender I made, and the kids Santa Letters (which was the advent calendar's thing for today), which they wrote on handstamped stationary!
Day 2 is the kids doing art all afternoon, just a single picture.
I'm doing my DD IN my PL album (with MME Lost & Found Christmas papers), as a kick off to my 2013 New Year Resolution to actually DO PL. I signed up for the Day By Day class for January, so I hope that helps! Also will be getting the SC and CitrusTwist monthly kits. |

12-1-12: We attended our first Christmas party of the season. Got photos there and included a recipe for a dip she served.
12-2-12: Photo of two purchases made to complete a quilt I am making for a gift. Included the ticket stubs for a movie dh and I saw, too.

Well, Day 1 was a photo collage of ds's basketball team with their trophy and dd at the place we ate with all it's Christmas decorations.
Day 2 was one side of a photo of dd when she was a baby, two days before her brother was born putting bows all over her head while opening presents (Fond Christmas Memory) and the other side was a photo of Ds's hand he broke Friday night but didn't tell us about until Saturday night and we found out was broken Sunday! |

Dec 1 will be a pic of my Christmas tree and decorations- since I put one up this year.
Dec 2 will be my 1 yr anniversary of having my tonsils out! I have a pic before and after my surgery. Then I'll journal about how nice it is not getting sore throats all the time! And no more strep throat! |

December 1: Evidence from some kids having snowball contest against the walls of our house the night before (we heard them play outside but couldn't figure out what they were doing. lol!). Looked like fun but, as a grown up, I'm thankful they didn't hit a window.
December 2: First candle of advent.
Since I'm using Instagram for my DD photos, like I did last year, you can follow my photos there.

Day one: Choir recitals from Friday and Saturday. (so technically that's two days, but I couldn't put one kid in there and not the other )
Day two: Putting up our two trees.
Both are complete, with the exception of needing to develop one more teesy picture to complete day two (I used a bunch of small photos on this one, and apparently missed a group photo that I meant to develop)
Day three: We were supposed to decorate toothbrush christmas tree ornaments for the dentist's office  ; but in between running one kid to gymnastics, cooking dinner, and all the kids getting their homework done; I don't think it's going to happen tonight. So I'll probably do something like favorite Christmas past, favorite carols, or favorite Christmas music.....a filler, if you will. | |

Just really decided to do this..just gonna use up my stash of supplies and I bought a red 8x8 WRMK album from Target today! Hope I can keep up with it...
Tomorrow's picture even though it isn't Christmasy will be of my DD at her first Basketball game she is on her school team! Basketball will be a huge part of the next two weeks so I figure that will go in the DD along with the Christmasy stuff...I hope I can actually complete this album I really want to attempt PL again in January I didn't do so great on my first attempt..

I haven't started yet. Butttttt I do have all my papers and such. I'm not sure about album size though. How do you all pick your album size? This will be my first year. And the only album for Christmas 2012. |

1 - Did our big grocery trip for the month. Between hosting 2 family events and our usual groceries, it took 2 carts. So I took pictures of our carts and funny moments in the store.
