|Posted: 12/3/2012 9:57:33 AM|What are your thoughts on glitter on the eyes...?
My initial thought is 'nooo!!!'...!
But in seeing some youtube videos and magazines and stuff, it seems to be a trend, and I thought it might be nice to try, esp with the holidays coming up...
Have you tried this...?
Does it scare you...?
Would you rather chew tin foil and walk on broken glass at the same time...?? j/k
This is the glitter I picked up for $3.00 at Ulta..I figured it was not a huge thing if I was disappointed and hated it.. NYX hot gold glitter
If you do use it and have used it successfully, what are some tips you can share...?
It is always easier to edit than it is to create

I'm pushing 40 and feel like some glitter/sparkles/sequins are OK on clothes in certain situations (holiday party, for example), but I feel like glittery makeup looks wrong on me.

But I rarely wear make up anyway, me with some eyeliner and mascara is a shock to people! So what do I know.

I am pushing 47, I just say no to glitter on my eyes.

I have a clear liquid eyeliner with silver/iridescent glitter that I wear in a thin line over regular eyeliner sometimes. It adds just a touch of sparkle without being over the top. I like a little sparkle but not the whole eyelid.

I bought some eyecolor that looks like pure glitter on my lids and it annoys the heck out of my eyes! I cannot wear it for more than 5 minutes.

I think it looks great if you don't have wrinkles, and are going out on the town or for a special party.

Glitter? No. It is the herpes of arts and crafts. It never goes away.
Shimmer? Yes. I like shimmer or metallics in eye make up.
