Whoops, I forgot to mention that! It's from inkadinkado.
It's a clear set that is Christmas themed. I got it a couple of years ago but I have seen it in stores recently! |

I received my January tag from Kathy this afternoon! The whole family was excitedly waiting for me to rip open the envelope.
It's great!! Thanks so much Kathy!! I'm glad one of the requirements was to include instructions, cause I wanted to know how you'd made the background straight away ! It's beautiful.
Have you received mine yet? |

Finally, here is my January tag.
I'm glad to finally be able to post it - I really like it! So much so that I made a similar, circular Christmas decoration.
I'm glad you liked it, Kathy!
Thanks for the great challenge, LeighAnn! |

Strange things are happening on the site this morning OR I'm more asleep than I first thought.
Here's my January Tag Swap sent to FarNorth. It is sooo late I'm
I've done fewer than half dozen tags since I started stamping years ago so this was a challenge and lots of fun. Unfortunately I failed to keep a copy of the details after putting them on the back of the tag. The only thing kinda unique about this tag tho' is maybe the base and the use of floral wire. The textured glossy CS was purchased at a show in PDX from G-Rated several years ago. TFL |

LOL, Marshia! My calendar says it's still only mid-january so I don't believe you're 'late'.
Think it's just that we're all having fun doing our tags & getting them done without (too) much fuss. |

Okay, it looks like everyone has received their tags!!! Each one is fabulous and would be a treasure to have!
I thought it would be fun to see them all grouped together. I meant to create a blog for this so they would all show up together and completely forgot.
I hope no one minds that I did this, if so PM me and I will remove your tag. I grouped all of the tags together for a gallery post so you could view them all together. In the description is the Pea creator of each tag. I love seeing them all together. Each and every one is so pretty and unique! Big, big thanks to all that participated!!!
Enjoy

LeighAnn- This is a great idea. A lot of work for you tho'. Thanks for taking the time. I started this post in the comments...What was I thinkin'? Sorry bout that.
Just a thought, if everyone added a description tag to their project for February, say t2013feb a search would then retrieve them all. And we could use the same description format going forward. At the end of the year a query of t2013 SHOULDreturn ALL the tag images. If each of us edited our January tags to add the descriptive tag "t2013jan" we could bring them into the fold too. What do ya think, worth a try?
After adding the tag to my project I actually tested this using the search criteria "tags:t2013jan" and it returned my tag. I added t2013feb to a different project and searched using "t2013".I thought it should return both projects, it did not.
I've opened a support ticket to see what I can learn. I'm the curious sort and lazy too so if there's a way to make 'gathering' easier I'm all over that!

LOL, Pug! I was going to PM you & see if you'd consider going 'blog' for the monthly tags. No surprise that you are already 'on it'! Love seeing them all together. Great diversity & tons of talent!
Good idea on the 'tag' for our tags. Might try sditing mine, but no promises 'cause some editing tends to get 'screwy' on 2Ps. But will add the t2013mon tag to my future ones.
Suggestion Pug? If you do do Monthly blogs for the tags? Do you think it would be good to have the open date extend to the 'next' month. For instance... The Feb tag blog's 'closing' could be March 31. That way even 'laties' can still post to the blog.

Marshia and Daniel that's a great idea! I will note that in feb tags to label their tags feb tag 2013 and I will do a blog so they can be posted there.
Thanks for the tips |

Although it is not a tag, here's an ATC I made from craftfoam that used the same image as my January tag.
What was fun was being able to physically 'resize' the image to conform to the necessary project size.
Might could be that one of these months, I'll do a CF tag. |

Thanks for sharing that with us, Daniel!
Every time I come across craft foam I think of you !
I like using craft foam but most of the time my image curls really bad. Sometimes I like the effect but is there a trick to heating it so it doesn't curl? |

Leigh Ann-"I like using craft foam but most of the time my image curls really bad. Sometimes I like the effect but is there a trick to heating it so it doesn't curl?"
To ensure the foam is heated through you turn it over just as it begins to curl, continue to heat until the backside is hot and begins to curl (this will be muct faster than back to the front side to impress the stamp...forcefully hold in place.
Happy stamping!...Jan |

Jan's advice is correct. Turn the foam over as it curls & heat both sides.
When I am shrinking a piece of already stamped CF I use old wood mounts to press the foam flat. HTH. |
