I only got to use 1 of the $5 off coupons. Several more that I never got a chance to use. I haven't seen any other "rewards"... I thought that them sending me a "gold" card would mean more "rewards" but it didn't

I thought just the card was going away, but the program was going to continue. No?

I am not in the program, but I have a friend that is and that is how she explained it to me.

I heard from a cashier it was going to email. You would print out your coupons.

Obviously I don't read very well - did they send an email about this? I know that I had read previously that there wouldn't be a spending amount to reach for gold status, but now they're taking the whole thing away? Eh. No big deal really, the only rewards I did use were the $5 off of $20, and most of the time I didn't even use those because they didn't automatically come off like they were supposed to. So really, nothing, unless you count a yellow-gold card that I can use to scrap my windows with if needed.

I didn't even know they had a rewards program. From the sound of it though, I didn't miss out on anything.

I got 3 $5 off coupons that I was able to use. I didn't know the program was ending.

they sent me lots of coupons and deals, but it was usually for stuff I didn't want or with a high minimum purchase. I think I only used two.

Nothing. My local store never issued the cards so they always looked at me like I had two heads when I asked them to scan the card.

On the rare occasion I would try to redeem a coupon, it would never scan. They always had some sort of excuse.

From what I understand they are not doing away with the program, just the scanning of the cards. There will be a different way to identify customers.

N.O.T.H.I.N.G. Absolutely nothing is what I got from this. I have been a card carrying member for almost 2 years. What a waste of my time & energy whipping it out at checkout each and every time I went to Michael's!

I don't even know what I got...

But there I was whipping out my card with every purchase....

It's all about tracking your shopping....not really what the consumer gets out of it.

I agree with pretty much everyone else -- got nothing out of it.
I used my card. I already received the coupons by email. The couple of times I allegedly received a $5.00 off $20.00 purchase, somehow it never activated or I didn't qualify or whatever.
It was a total waste as far as I am concerned.

I've also never gotten anything from the AC Moore rewards. You had to spend $200 a year to get $10 and it reset at the end of every year. I rarely go there now because it's not near me and I don't go down that way hardly any more. But even when I was going more I didn't spend that much in a year.

I was in the beta test group before they did the nationwide roll out...the group I was in got the card for $25 a year and the discounts were 25% off all purchase and you still could use a coupon. I loved that. The sole reason I started to shop at Michaels a lot.

After the beta testing was over, the card program they chose is the current one, free....with no benefits that I could tell. It held no incentive for me at all. I wish they had chosen to go with the one I was in...I would have gladly paid $25 a year for that.

I never received my card, even though it was promised when I signed up for the program.

I just gave the cashier my phone number and got my purchases credited each time I shopped there.

Since I was buying all the supplies for my step-daughter's wedding, I earned several of the $5 off purchase deductions (they came off automatically when the cashier put in my phone number and my membership came up).

Will I miss the program? Probably not as I need nothing and am not buying much now that the wedding is behind us.

Loyalty programs can be a very good thing, if there is a great benefit for both the customer and the retailer. They don't work well when only one party benefits.

I've always felt left out when I hear people talk about their discount at M's. But I never felt motivated to drive to M's so I would get over it. (Nearest M's is about 35 miles away.) NOW I am glad I wasn't treking all the way out there for nothing!!

I kept telling cashiers that the program was worthless...I think I got one $5 off thing at checkout...there was always such a time limit that it was frustrating.

Not a thing.

I was quite unimpressed with the program and not sad to see it end because nothing will really change for me.

I got $5 off a $25+ purchase a couple of times and nothing else. I think if there had been more deals, special offers or $$ off it would have made me buy more. In the end the rewards program really reflected my local Michaels well it got my hopes up and time and again disappointed me. Just enough good stuff for me to get a glimmer of hope but not enough to get me in the store and keep me shopping. M's use to be a 1-2 times a week stop for me and now it is a last ditch after thought.

I received the $5 good off any Regular price purchase of ONE item, it was useless as you can't use it on any one thing under $5 and anything over $10, I would use a 50% instead and save more.

Nothing. I haven't gotten any discounts or coupons from the AC Moore rewards program either.

It's not like CVS extra bucks or the grocery store gas points.

But I don't shop at the craft stores often so I'm not disappointed.

I got two or maybe three $5 off coupons, so forms it was worth it to scan my card. I was able to use the $5 off with my other 40/50% off coupons.

I got maybe 1 or 2 coupons - but nothing really.

I do love the Ms app though. Never have to go searching for a coupon because it's right there on your phone!!
