Thanks for posting the link to the video. I saw part of it on the news last night and wanted to see the rest.

I agree Lego is just a fantastic company. My son is a huge Lego collector and my DD's love the Lego Friends sets too. Okay... DH is as big a fan as the kids! Last year, my dd had a slumber party and unfortunately, one of the pieces from a set went missing. We tried looking for a replacement online but couldn't find one and we couldn't buy a whole new set. Dh wrote an email to them asking if we could possibly purchase one or if it would be sold in the future and didn't get a reply.

About a week later, we got a package in the mail from Lego with the replacement piece! Dh didn't include our mailing address in the email, but someone must have gotten it from our on-line account. That level of customer service brought tears to my eyes.

Runs with decorative scissors... and armed with punches!

Bad spellers of the world, untie!

Any interest in Pinterest ?

Lego does have awesome customer service. We have had issues with missing pieces in kits or broken pieces and they always send us new ones free of charge and pay for shipping.

What a fantastic company!

I'm so happy that we were able to support that
company throughout my son's younger years.

Lego has excellent customer service. (and I ought to know the # of sets in my house LOL ) They always have. Missing piece, ripped sticker whatever it is they have always replaced it no questions asked. We love the Lego company.

Lego has replaced pieces for us as well. even when it was our fault that they were missing or broken in the first place.

I always try to buy replacement pieces from the pick-a-brick section of their site, but occasionally a piece just isn't listed there.

My college-aged son works at a Lego Store.

-The emphasis on customer service is intense - and evident in their training and expectations of employees. They're called "Brick Specialists." He comes home exhausted - and all talked out.

-The company is still family owned, not publicly traded. One of the owners visited the store recently - all the way from Denmark.

-There are many adult customers, and they're not necessarily buying for their nephews...

-His favorite part of the job is when they ask him to put together display models. And every month or so, he uses his employee discount to buy a new set - you know, to increase his "knowledge of the inventory."
