I am reading While We're Far Apart by Lynn Austin and really enjoying it. Can anyone recommend some of her other books also during WWII? or other authors. I've realized I'm almost done with this one and need to get to the library. Thanks!

I read A Soldier's Wife by Margaret Leroy and enjoyed it. There's a great christian series on that time period by Brock and Bodie Thoene. It's the Zion Covenant series. I think there are about 6 books in that series.

I like Alison Weir. She's a historian first, author second. Her novel, Innocent Traitor, is based on Lady Jane Grey, who was Queen of England for nine days. She had already written everything known about the subject before trying her hand at embellishing the unknown with the facts to create an entertaining novel.

ETA it's not WWII, but still a great historical fiction.

Thanks y'all! I just ordered A Women's Place from my library, hope they get a copy soon!
I think I have the first book in the Zion series(I'll have to check but I think it is) and I had a hard time getting stareted in it. Does it get easier to follow?
Thanks for all of the suggestions!
