It is the holidays, every year UPS , USPS as well as FEDEX have slower shipping due to all the mail and packages.

Add that to the huge sale here on black Friday and this should have been expected!

I just think it is not right to blast 2 Peas for something we all should have expected. I am sure they are doing their best to get it sent as fast as they can.

Plus its the holiday season! Lets try to be kind to one another

Sorry, but I ordered from 6 different stores on BF weekend and they were all delivered in a week except my peas order. And I *paid* for shipping because I forgot to add the free shipping code! So I feel I have the right to be a little frustrated.

I'm not being rude or mean or anything but I am not going to hold my tongue about being annoyed. I have not blasted anyone.

I'd happily wait two weeks in order to save 40%. I can't imagine how busy they are.

On the other hand, another site still hasn't delivered my Lucky Eight punch I ordered on Nov. 24, and some half-assed company that can't even write a coherent customer service email has had my money since October 10. Supposedly the product shipped on November 27 and I can expect it by December 21. Really? Because it's a gift that still has to travel to Augusta, GA, pal.

Guess they put it on the slow boat from India. If they're not lying to me about it shipping.

Something I bought from Deal Chicken, one of the daily deals sites, on November 18 is also MIA.

This makes me cherish Amazon Prime even more.

Oh, ain't that the truth?!?!?

I wonder if 2Peas orders would come any faster if bought through Amazon? I've never bought that way, and I'm guessing Prime wouldn't apply, but I wonder if it makes any difference?

My 2P's order was shipped the day before the projected date. It took a few days to get here but I have no complaints. I chose free shipping which I think is fantastic.

In my business, I order fabric for customers. The shipping costs are ridiculous. It costs around $18 to get a small roll (less than 4 yards) of fabric from a town less than 100 miles from my house. True I get it in one days time but I don't need it that fast. I'd rather save my customer some money on shipping costs if that were an option.

It seems to me that more and more of my 'free shipments' are traveling part way on one carrier and then the rest of the way on another. I assume this creates a cheaper shipment. If they can keep the cost down for me, I'm willing to wait. I just ordered some photos from Walmart on Sunday and they won't be here until sometime next week. They have already shipped and are on the East coast plus we are paying for the shipping!

40% off and then free shipping = not that much profit for them and a good deal for me.

That's no my experience at all, in fact, I've had better shipping times.

I've had better shipping times.

I have to agree with Scoobers. Even my OA Santa Sacks have been coming quickly.

And I am not complaining, as I didn't order (because of the posted shipment dates on the M- but what I will say is that perhaps those that ordered actually planned on getting the items timely and they are perplexed or frustrated as it delays their projects.

No blasting here - just the other side of the coin.....

I understand what your saying OP but its not been happening just since the sale it was before that at least in my case.

Orders that used to take less than a week to get to me are now taking upwards of two weeks & that started with an order in October!

Sorry to disagree but USPS & Fedex are running as usual for me - they hire extra help during the season so there shouldn't be any delay.

I know everyone says to expect delays with all the shipping services but my packages have been on the same fast delivery schedule as always if not faster .. Everything I have ordered besides twopeas has gotten to me super super fast! I placed an order from toysrus and literally had it sitting on my door step the very next morning with free shipping ... now I know that's just getting lucky but I don't think it's the shipping services they seem to be getting faster as each year of holiday madness passes they hire extra help to accommodate the busy times.. Twopeas isn't that small of a company I'm sure they could do the same, and I'm sure they know ppl are unhappy about slow shipping times and they will fix it! They really are the best on the web ill wait if I have too

Oh, wow, I guess we've been told then!

Yeah, everywhere else is actually running *faster* for me too, because the holidays the shipping carriers step up their game with more people to handle the extra demand. You know... like responsible companies?

With a small business you just can't expect it both ways (fast and cheap). If you get it fast and cheap consider it a plus.

I specifically did not order anything from the 40% off sale that I needed quickly. Two Peas orders always take at least two weeks to reach me when there isn't a sale (which I'm always unhappy about because I think it's ridiculous when ACOT can get me the same order with free shipping in 3 days but I digress ) so I really thought I'd be in for a three week wait because of the sale. But you know, that's fine. It's 40% off on some pretty new product. With no charge for shipping, they're only just breaking even on my order. My black Friday order just arrived today, December 6th. I didn't even remember half of what was in my box!

I do have to say that I have experienced much faster than normal shipping times through Fedex, UPS, and the Post Office. They take the holiday rush seriously. I only wish ship times were this quick during the rest of the year!

Shipping times aren't the issue for me. They're standard. But it took almost 8 days just to fill my order from what I can tell...

So did I miss a really good BF sale here at Two Peas? So sad!

Meanwhile, the ever-reliable Amazon Prime just sent me an email that the LARGE order of Christmas presents went astray and will take an extra FOUR days to arrive. I don't mind at this point cuz I ordered with weeks to spare, but it does prove to me at least that the Christmas shipping season is filled with unexpected pitfalls!

I know 2 peas in considered a small business so I expect an extra day or so when it comes to shipping.. But I did notice that things I ordered last week from other small businesses have already arrived at my home. Keeping my fingers crossed my order comes this week-- there were some holiday things in it.

Well, it isn't like Macy's. I ordered 6 place settings. Two came and the order said closed. I couldn't get a human at all! Finally I searched the web and found one. He did not understand English at all and finally said he would reship my order. Well he reshipped 2 place settings. Then I had to find another gal who says she reshipped 2 more place settings but they are now on backorder! I may or may not have them for Christmas dinner %$%^$&^%@#$!!

My two peas order was late, ordered with the 25% sale not the 40% BUT it all came and it was right only with a couple of corners bent!

Sorry, but I am with the people that have not experienced slow shipping anywhere else!

And, I shop several "small business" sites that charge me half of the shipping that this one does (sometimes free) and I have my stuff within a week and often with it all 40% off! So, what was your point again?

My issue is with how many days it took them to pull the order off the shelf. I have no problem with how many days if took AFTER they finally filled the order.

This is a business, not a charity. I never understand the attitude that "they are doing the best they can". Maybe they are, but my point is that they have to do better than that because other companies are doing better.

I have a certain amount of money that I use to buy scrapbook supplies. There are a lot of scrapbook companies out there. Where I choose to spend that money depends on the service that company provides. An October Afternoon paper is an October Afternoon paper no matter where I buy it. The only difference to me is price and shipping time. If I find a better price, I'll buy there. If I can find a faster shipping time, I'll buy there.

The main reason that Two Peas gets my business first is the message boards and Glitter Girl. Other than that, I don't have an emotional stake in the company. It is simply a business transaction.

I'm not posting here to put Two Peas down. I'm posting here because I've liked the company in the past, would like to spend more money here, but they are going to need to fix something that isn't currently working. So I think I'm doing them a favor by bringing this to their attention. It shouldn't be that hard of a thing to fix and it will resort in them keeping the customers they already have.

Artbabe, I completely agree. I placed my order in the morning of 11/22. It didn't ship until 11/30. There was a sale on and I expected a delay. But this isn't new, that is a normal pull time for the orders I've placed in 2012. Which I find ridiculously slow, the only reason I didn't care this time is because of the huge discount offered.

I spend a lot more money at ACOT because they have very fast pull times. I can usually place an order, get the free shipping, and have it in my hand three to five days later whereas Two Peas averages a two week turn around time. Both Two Peas and ACOT are equally distant from me.

I am also only continuing to shop here because of the Glitter Girl videos. I want to those to go on because I find them very helpful and that will only happen if those who watch shop here.
