I ordered something (not here) last Tuesday, It is time sensitive and had not shipped by Saturday so I cancelled the order. I really wanted it so I emailed the owner and asked if I reordered it would it be shipped priority mail on Monday? She said no but she would on Tuesday. She also stated she would send me a shipping notification. I emailed her for it yesterday. I get an email this morning stating that it is shipping out today. I realize things happen in life but I specifically asked if she could do it. I am so disappointed!!! I did send her an email stating that I was disappointed since I based my decision to reorder on the fact she could ship it on Tuesday. I know it is only two days but I did ask.

That is what I think. Even if she had sent me an email Tuesday and explained why I wouldn't be upset. BUT NO acknowledgement or apology just a shipping confirmation. I guess I have been spoiled by other owners and their superb customer service!!

Even if a store can't keep its promises, if they COMMUNICATE most customers will understand or at least deal with it. It's the lack of communication that is so frustrating.

I ordered from a small company. on November 5th. These days, I think we all expect a shipping notice, so on 11/8. I emailed and asked when they would ship. (Amazon has totally spoiled me).

11/8. Their response:
Looks like Saturday (ll/10) at the latest. All your items are in stock. They will be arriving to you via FedEx. It takes 5 days to ship? I think that's on the slow side, especially when the website says everything is in stock, and they haven't emailed otherwise.

11/16. I emailed: Still no package. Do you have a tracking number?

11/16. Their response:
I will check when I get back to the office. It should have shipped already. It processed on Saturday.

11/19. I emailed: Still no package or any word that you have shipped. Do you have a tracking number?
Thank you. (Maybe I'm annoying, but I think they should be telling me what is going on before I ask).

11/20 Their response:
I checked on Friday (11/16). It had not shipped. Not sure why But It shipped today via FedEx. I delivered it myself. I didn't want to wait for the afternoon pick up. I asked them to include an additional folder for the delay. So enjoy. It should be there by Thursday. I am away from the office but didn't want to not respond when I saw your email.

I received it on the 26th, and she NEVER sent a tracking number, which is what irritated me the most. More than annoying.

Yeah, that would tick me off. I'd respond when I got my package telling her I'd not be ordering again. Those time sensitive things are the worst to wait for, and when someone screws it up it's just crazy making!

I ordered several dies for Christmas from Oh My Crafts. Order was paid for on October 31. I have yet to see the last item from that order. I feel your pain. I have pretty much decided I am willing to order from J's online for scrappy tools, but all other supplies will come from 2peas.

ETA: the item that has not shipped is STILL listed as in stock on their website!

I'd be especially annoyed with the "So enjoy." that was thrown in. No sincere apologies for the problems with the order? Nice.

Also, that person seems to be "out of the office" a lot. Maybe they should be there more often to make sure things get done

If I were you, I'd let them know that the order is received, thank them for the "extra" but that I am not ordering from them again.

After I emailed her I got a response. She told me why and said she was sorry I was disappointed. It just didn't come off right but she did offer to cancel the order and issue a refund so I did. I do love the products this place offers but there are other places with much better customer service. I do understand her reasons but they were not communicated to me.
