Hi all,
So was excited to see a new purple ATG gun in the Michaels ad today as the deal of the day ($19.99). I went in to see it and honestly I took it out of the box to see if it was similar to the pink one, and my first impressions are that it just isn't made as well as the pink one that I already have. I put it back. *gasp!*
I probably don't *need* it anyhow, but I know it just holds a larger 1/2 wide tape and thought it may save me some time when doing larger projects.
Anyone already have one - does it work well - thoughts on design or quality? |

The 1/2 inch tape is a turn off for me.
I am not interested in it at all.

First of all, why would it save time?
Second of all, the tape is twice the price--You get one roll for the price of 2 rolls of the 1/4 inch. | |

I already have a yellow gun that I use 1/2" tape in....not interested in the gun, but maybe the refills. |

I just painted my pink one purple. solved that ugly colour problem and I still have 1/4 inch tape. I don't think 1/2 would work for me. |

I do love purple, but I think I like the idea of just painting my pink ATG instead of buying a new one. I'm happy with the 1/4 inch tape. |

I'm with WorkingClassDog, WHAT ugly PINK color problem!!! But I love pink AND purple. I'm surprised that the purple one is different from the pink, red or yellow. I was all set to GET one from just reading the title and OP but if they are different, then I don't need it nor 1/2 inch tape.
I had already been threatening to get another pink ATG because my DH keeps STEALING mine to use! I think I'll just have to get another one, spray it purple and I'll have the best of both worlds. |

my m's has replaced the pink gun with the purple..  along with the refills.. no more 1/4" at my store.. very sad |
