Good morning! I was so busy getting my holiday on that I forgot this thread!!

Had a fun night shopping last night for stockings with DH and we even ate a new restaurant! How rare for us to go out of our restaurant rut! And of course I snapped a photo of the festive facade.

I am definitely in a HOLLY JOLLY mood today. Got up 30 minutes early today just to sit on my couch and take in our tree in the pre-dawn light. Sitting there in the early mornings with a cup of coffee is one of my favorite holiday rituals!

What is your favorite holiday ritual? Are you making time for it? Capturing it this month on film?

I hope today is a great day! TGIF everyone!

So if you got up 30 minutes early....did you even go to bed????

Our tree isn't even up. Plan is this weekend. Then I'll be with ya on the light deal.

I'm planning on baking this weekend, so some of my F-S-Sun pics will be of that or the tree.

Penny, I love looking at our tree with a warm mug in my hand, it's the little things in life!

I did 3 pages yesterday and am soooo excited. I am not doing a "true" DD. I documented our Thanksgiving visit back home which included a page for my girls baking homemade apple pies with my parents, a page for a Christmas light show we always go to in downtown Philadelphia, and a page for the arrival of our Elf on the Shelf, who was waiting for us when we returned from being away.

Feels so good to have pictures glued down and journaling DONE! Now if I could just get going with PL I'd be set. (I'm months behind! )

I'm a little bit behind. I've got all my stories I just need to scrap it. Going to do it this weekend.
Today is an exciting day. I gave myself a new printer for Christmas. And I received it today. Needed a new printer. I got a Canon Pixma 6220. Fell in with it. Just need to set it up now.

I too love sitting in front of the tree lights-could literally do it all day.

Today's entry will be movie night. We are going to watch Rudolph and I am going to try pick up some popcorn boxes on the way home.

With my advent calendar being activities this year instead of candy-I feel like we are starting to cement some new traditions this year.

I am a project lifer. That's why I am taking so many pictures.....

DD POTD today will be from dd and her bf at the local downtown Christmas celebration - they took the bus in from college for it. She's snapping the photos for me and I'll print them out after we get back.

Thanks for the thread.

Well, I was going to get a picture of our shopping trip to Costco today, with all the holiday craziness. But DS was getting hungry, and the pic isn't that cute!

So I'm thinking I may change to my snowmen collection (and how this year they're migrating around the house thanks to a certain 2.5 year old!) Gotta go with the flow for this project.

Todays photo is of my grandson and our Elf. The Elf was sitting on Jamison's play kitchen, so he fixed Elf cheerios and a banana for breakfast. Yesterday Elf was hiding in Jamison's Bat Cave. We've had so much fun with Elf this year.

Tomorrow is ladies shopping day with all my family, so today's page was my daughter and my grandson's wish list.

I love to sit and look at lights with coffee or hot chocolate. So calming and it gets me in Christmas spirit.

One of my favorite traditions is my family driving around looking at Christmas lights with a cup of coffee/hot chocolate.

My page today will be some wrapped presents. I am going to wrap my kids presents. Even though they are in college they will start snooping when they get home.

Tonight was DS's Christmas play - they did the Grinch that Stole Christmas. It was pretty cute seeing all the "Who's".

No real rituals here ... but I love the idea of coffee in front of the tree. I may have to adopt that one on the weekends, when I actually get a chance to drink coffee at home

Thanks to everyone for your lists. There are days I've been stumped so some of those ideas will come in handy

Today is just a picture of my Chritmas/Holiday Black Bear decorations. Though I did think about a pic of all my hot chocolates, but I had already journaled about the bears. Guess I'll do the chocolate tomorrow as we are supposed to get our first real storm of the season so I'll have plenty of hot chocolate drinking time this weekend

Took a photo of the restaurant that met ate dinner at tonight. It was all decked out in Christmas lights, so very appropriate.

Not doing so good so far but I will go back and do pictures of stockings hung, some close up some ornaments that we have collected over the years etc....today's picture even though we had an uneventful day will be the photo I snapped of the Christmas projects my DD's class done that is decorating the hallway outside their classroom.

I too love sitting in front of the tree with coffee in hand although I don't do it quite as early as Penny!
