Hi all! Here's the Reader Digest version of the story: I ordered an DD kit from Studio Calico when they first started selling them. About ten min. after placing my order I went back and edited my shipping/billing address since we recently moved from overseas. I thought everything was set until I noticed people talking about tracking their kits. I logged in and clicked on the order number and saw it had been shipped to my overseas address. I'm sure you all know I was freaking out by then!
I wrote SC and asked how this could happened when I had changed my address. Lorie wrote me back and said the correction had to be done by clicking on the order number. Now I'm freaking out b/c I'm sure I won't be getting the kit back from overseas and I just wasted $80. I get a prompt email from Lorie and she tells me SC will send me another one!!! Hooray!
In the meantime my husband contacted a former co-worker in Bahrain and long story short, the kit is forwarded to my house. I wrote SC to let them know I received the original kit and would ship it back to them this week. Here's the kicker: Lorie said not to worry about it but to give it to a scrappy friend!
SC gets a lot of shit on the boards so I felt the need to share this story. I'm very happy with the way Lorie handled the entire situation. Along with that I'm going to break up the kit and give it to my fellow peas. I haven't taken the time to learn how to post pics or links so if you're interested go to SC and look at the kit , post the item you want in this thread(please don't send me pea mail), and I'll send it to you. I should mention the album included in the kit was given to a neighbor of mine for a minibook she is making. Everything else is up for grabs.

I just wanted to take a moment to say that this is such an amazing and generous thing. Bravo for SC, but even more for you. That kit was not cheap and you could have turned around and sold it.
