I thought I read a post about using etching cream to trmovr a coating on eyeglasses. Does anyone know what post this was or have any idea if this works?

I'm pretty sure it would make the eyeglasses totally useless for seeing. I wouldn't try it unless you are using an old pair of glasses that you are using for an art project and never plan to use as eyeglasses again.

Holy cow! That sounds risky.
That stuff etches pretty quick. I can't imagine it not destroying a pair of glasses in a few minutes

I do know you're not supposed to use alcohol or cleaners/soap with alcohol in them because it can remove the anti-glare coating.
