Silly me thought silhouette files were only designed to scrap to make vinyl signs with the I read the post about nail design files and my mind was officially blown.

Are there any other types of files out there that I need to check out?

In addition to files you can cut from paper, cardstock, and vinyl to use for scrapbooking and other projects, they have 3d pop-up cards, as well as print and cuts.
Not sure if you knew about those.

You can also cut thin fabric (use a backing) and iron-on vinyl for shirts.

They make designs for creating rhinestone designs in clothing, they have a screen printing (well, fabric ink that you apply similarly) kit and heat transfer for fabric. A lot of people use silhouette designs for glass etching, too.

Oh, and sketch files, you put a pen in where the blade normally goes and it draws the file.
