Kat, don't forget to price match with amazon.
I did for both the printer and inks.
Just showed them the amazon page on my phone.
I have the epson 1400 and know what you mean about the ink cost.
Omg. I just realized i own another garage tool. That makes 4.
See but that "tool" is needed for my larger prints.

So my only disappointment is that the wireless app only has the option for 1 up printing. How do I get two 3x4 images on one sheet? | |

I use what Caribbean girl suggested for multiple layout options then
Just save it to my photos and choose it to print
From the epson app. ( thanks carribbean girl! )

I got mine a few days ago and love it! I'm having a hard time printing from my computer to the printer wirelessly but am ok printing from my iPhone. I'm so happy I got it. Fewer runs to Costco makes me happy!

I received mine today and tried to use the PicJointer app to print a collage from my phone but it came out too big and got cut off. How do I make sure the collage from PicJointer fits into a 4x6?

Mine just arrived! Quick question though. when printing an instagram picture, do you just print directly from your camera roll? Do you choose bordered or borderless? I think I printed one as boarderless (because it seemed to me it already had a boarder on it from instagram) but for some reason it didn't print as a square. I guess I need to mess around with it.
also, have any of you found whether the "auto correction" feature that it defaults to is good or have you found it to mess with your colors? | |

I read through the thread tonight but didn't see it. Could have easily missed it through in the 5 pages. I thought I read something about this somewhere along the way but it could have been in any of the upteen threads about this printer lately.
Additionally, I printed 5 photos, which was all that came with the printer. Shouldn't the printer be displaying some sort of out of ink or out of paper message? According to the manual it should, but mine hasn't yet. Tempted to put in another photo paper and see if it prints properly, but I know it's not suppose to. | |

To print an IG picture you must choose the border feature, otherwise it will stretch it out

Oh all of you enablers, you! I have been thinking about getting a 4x6 photo printer for some time but I hadn't pulled the trigger yet. I was looking at the Charm yesterday and saw someone post that the Selphy was on sale. Molitva, mine printed the exact amount that came with the printer and didn't show the "no ink" sign until after I tried to print 1 more photo. It didn't waste paper trying to print or anything, just waited until I replaced the ink cartridge. | |

I got mine on Monday. BestBuy priced matched the ink price I found on Amazon: $22.79 for the 108-pack!
I ordered three packs online ad grabbed one when I picked up my Selphy (so I wouldn't have to WAIT to use it!)
I with you could use its built in 2-up or 4-up, etc, formats from the app but t seems that only works if you are printing from a mEmory card.
I'm using PicStitch instead. | |

Has anyone had any issues printing from their computer using Windows 8? My laptop is literally 2 weeks old. I downloaded the software from Canon (as the enclosed disc would not load) and when I go to run it, it gets to 80% and then I get an error message regarding MS Silverlight may be installed incorrectly (it isn't.) When I have the printer connected via cable to my laptop, the printer shows they are communicating, however I'm not getting the device to show up in my control panel. I'm also not able to locate the printer via wi-fi. I'm able to print via wi-fi to my Brother printer just fine. Canon site says drivers are most likely installed on my computer already. The few Amazon reviews that mention this say Canon has no plans to support Win 8. Transferring files to a thumb drive is becoming a PIA. | |

My birthday is at the end of the month, and when I saw Best Buy had it on sale I told my dh that was what I wanted. it is now sitting some where in the house and I Will have to wait until the 28th

my selphy 900 came today and I just printed a few photos on it and I'm SUPER DUPER IMPRESSED! This little thing is a powerhouse! I love the fact that you can print multiple sizes on one 4x6 print! The color is crisp and clear, better than what I get from walgreens! Thanks to the peas for the heads up on this printer! | |

I haven't tried it with my computer and don't have Windows 8. I have my computer set up to wirelessly print to my big HP printer. I only print the occasional picture to that computer. Mostly send hem out to Walgreens, because it is cheaper and easier.
I bought this printer to save me steps in printing off my iPhone. Works great for that. I have also printed from my camera's SD card. No issues.
I like pic frame better than pic joiner. It has more options and the ratios are more straight forward...actually says 4x6, 5x7, etc. | |

But I have printed composites made with Photosheet and saved onto SD card... another way of putting multiple pics on one 4x6. | |

Okay, all you enablers...  !!!
I've been watching this thread because I've been wanting one of these B-A-D-L-Y!!! When I saw that Best Buy had them on sale, I marched myself down there and wouldn't you know one of them jumped into my arms and asked me to take him home? Who can say no to such a cute little thing?!
Well, I brought it home and had it set up in no time. I installed the Canon iEPP app and printed one photo from my iPhone. I also set the printer up to run WiFi from my Windows 7 computer and printed out a second photo. Both pictures are awesome!!!
I now realize what a boost this little baby is going to be to my scrapbooking. No more "Well I'll need to send these pictures to Walgreen's, wait an hour and drive to pick them up." That may not hinder other people, but it sure does me!
