A few threads I read are asking about finding inspiration or being challenged to create a page. I am in the mood to scrap today and have the time so I have been cruising around the internet looking for a starting point.

I thought I would share a few things here and challenge you to pick one of my prompts and create something and share it here by Monday December 31st. I will randomly pick a participant and send the winner a small scrapping goodie! The more prompts you complete, the more chances you have to win and the more scrapping you get done!

Prompt Number One

Do you have any layouts bookmarked here at two peas? Go to page 6 of your bookmarks and find a page to scraplift. You must have loved it for a reason. Maybe you bought the paper to copy that layout. Pull it out and use it!

Prompt Number 2

Do you subscribe to a kit club? where is December's kit? Still in it's bag/box? Pull it out and use it, right now. Create a layout or card or even a bookmark....just bust into it.
If you aren't a current subscriber but have old kits laying around, go grab one. Today is the day to use it!

If you don't have a kit, maybe you have a collection pack? Or a few sheets of paper from one manufacturer/collection that you never used, use it up!

Prompt Number 3

I love the look of vintage. Do you have any papers that reflect a vintage vibe? Jenni Bowlin, October Afternoon, Basic Grey, Crate Paper, MME.....these manufactures all make things that look old. Grab an older photo and some vintage looking patterned paper and make a page.

Prompt Number 4
I love THIS sketch from the Basicgrey blog.

Use this sketch to make a page or a card.

Prompt Number 5

Make a page inspired byTHIS page from Garden Girl Wendy Sue. There is a ton of inspiration in her gallery.

Five prompts to get you scrapping. Don't forget to share your creation here!

I'm in, I am scrapping this weekend. YAY! But I do not have any bookmarks as I have just recently returned to Peas after a long absence. Do you have an alternative to that one, like maybe go to page (?) if the gallery and select one page from that to scraplift from?

Okay, I did one!! Thanks for the challenge - it was just what I needed to get the courage to crack open my new Noel Mignon kit!

I combined prompt 5 (my first ever attempt at scrap lifting!) with prompt 2 - the layout was entirely made with my Noel Mignon kit.

Sorry, I tried to link it and it kept giving me a server error. But it's under my profile.

I am in....I got one half hour before I leave for work to collect items and I will work on it tonight when I return...Your prompts are great...I LOve all of them...I didn't have 6 pages of bookmarks so I chose one off that page 16...I am so excited. I also don't suscribe to a kit club but I have several collection packs that have never been opened so I am going to challenge myself to use of those...I have been working on a giant project using only one collection of papers and I really need a break from it...so doing these prompts will give me the much needed break from that project. THANKS for the inspiration!

I was hoping to get more done today, but I've been out with my hubby (Les Mis!), and he just invited someone over for fondue tonight, so it may not happen.

Tinkgumby, how was Les Mis? I want to see it, but I'm worried I'll leave the theater feeling really down because even the trailers make me cry!

I'm impressed that some of you did 3 of these! Is anyone going 5 for 5? I did a couple more LOs today, but none work for the challenge and I think I'm done scrapbooking for the year

It was SO GOOD!!! Even though I cried clear through the ending credits, it didn't leave me feeling down at all.

If our visitors tonight leave in good time (we've both got little ones to put to bed), I'm going to try to do all 5 - I might combine the vintage one with the BG sketch in the interest of time.

Thank you for getting me to dig into an old collection that I've never used! I love that this LO is all very old product except the little house and the tiny bit of washi. It feels good to use up some older stuff. This one works under prompt 2 since I don't have a kit sub.

Phew! DONE - with half an hour to spare!

Just finished off the Basic Grey sketch using October Afternoon and VERY vintage photos from the early 80's.

80's Style

Thanks again for doing these challenges! Like I said before, I've NEVER used a sketch, and it was a lot of fun! (It changed my scrapping style, though - usually I select photos first, and with these, I chose them last!)

This was really fun! Though I only had time for one LO, I'm going to finish the rest of the prompts. I had gotten in a rut, and this was perfect for getting me out of it.

I also want to say that looking at all of the LO's you ladies have made has given me some ideas. I hope you don't mind if I steal bits and pieces of what I saw you do.
