I am not child free but I wanted to see the ideas that you came up with and they are great! My son and his wife have been married for 14 years and do not have children and they lead some of the busiest and non boring lives I know. They both come from large families and would have no problem being able to do DD or PL!!! I hope you are an encouragment to those that feel their lives are boring just because they have no children. keep up the good work!!! |

You did a great job! We don't have kids either and I don't think our life is boring at all. We love our life.

Thanks for sharing Crisann. I have kids but my teenage boys are not very keen on being photographed. Also they are at school/friends a lot of the time so I need lots of ideas to round out the picture of our life in 2013. Its not all about them you know!
My addition to the list is - a photo of my DH's golf bag as it is very important to him and is something that changes every couple of years, a silhouette of each family member (I envision putting them on a 3x4 and using as filler cards), front door, special jewellery, something that reflects the season (eg ice sticks by the pool in summer, hot chocs for winter), views from house windows, screenshots of fav. websites, screenshots of funny conversations (text/facebook), photo of TV guide. I also thought of a few lists that each of us can fill in to be scattered through the album: bucket list, 2013 goals, bliss lists, currently.
Even though I dont have a thrilling life there is still plenty of material out there.

Thanks for posting this.
People think their lives are boring but so what? It is your life and deserves to be documented. Think about looking back at an album in 5 years and seeing what has changed, what you forgot, etc. |

I think my life was way less boring before I had kids. I feel like I have tons of pictures of my kids but I need to work on making them more interesting
Great lists though, and useful for anyone I think. Cathy Zielake does have kids but her Project Life features a lot of non-kids pictures, and Elise Blaha Cripe is pregnant now but did a whole year of childless PL, for anyone who wants to go look at their sites for inspiration.
