I have been making cards always in a standard A2 size because I have always had issues with finding a file for card sizes and figuring out how to make the size actually fit a 12x12 sheet of cardstock.

I don't know why it seems to be such a big issue to just learn the machine and just do it, but I really have gotta figure this out. I guess that why there are so many files that you can buy to make envelopes but I am too cheap to buy them as well.

So I am going to challenge myself to learn my program to cut different envelope sizes so that I can make bigger/wider cards from now on. Especially since a lot of the cards I make actually are hand delivered so I could make larger ones.

So what is something that you are being "lazy" about learning or doing? Or something that you have had in your stash of ideas that you have yet to try or do. I challenge you to just try it...Have fun. Now I am off to play on my computer and machine.

I have perfect pearls that I have never used. My hubby gave them to me a long time ago. They are so pretty, but I have never even tried to use them. He also gave me colored waxes one year and I haven't a clue what to do with them! One day I'll just have to sit down and play. My crafty time is short, so I'm usually goal oriented when I sit down at the table. One of these days I'll just have to be play-oriented, I guess!

Yeah I think I have been project focussed for so long that I really didn't want to take the time away from that and do or learn something else. And I think since I am making a few cards for my stash to be able to give to family, friends and co-workers, I have decided that I need to learn to make different envelope sizes.

But perfect pearls were so fun when you have the time to use them you should. Check at youtube, they have a ton of videos and I have projects also (as well as many other scrapers do) in the gallery where I actually used them to make cards and alphabets for pages etc etc.

I need to get busy trying out new techniques for decorating and using all those chipboard letters I've been hoarding.

I'd also like to get better at using my Cricut machine for things other than just cutting out titles, etc.
