That's old CB Radio talk for WHERE ARE YOU?

If you kept up fairly well with PL during 2012, where are you on it? I see posts of gals that are done and that is fantastic, but I am not.

I have to print pictures out from 12/24 to today and there will be plenty to choose from.

I however am behind on my journaling. I know it takes me about 45 minutes to an hour to type up journaling for one week. And I counted the other day and I think I have 16 weeks of journaling to do. I can't beat myself up too badly about it. I have kept up with my picture printing and I can always do the journaling on the go.

I am thinking about forcing myself to "take a lunch" at work and type it up during my lunch hour. I do this by taking pictures of my LO spread on my phone and then I can type looking at the picture and I don't have to have my album with me. That's how I caught up earlier this year while on vacation.

At any rate, that's my twenty and I am pleased with having kept up with it. I do like the project and like the story it tells of the year.

I am converting to digi for 2013 and excited for the change, but nervous I won't like it. Nervous I'll have to flip to paper at some point. And play mad catch up. WE. SHALL. SEE.

How have you done on 2012? Are you done done - or partly done?

What's your twenty?

As a former police dispatcher, you have my attention Except for us it meant a physical location.

And I didn't do PL 2012 so I can't answer the question

But I'm giving it a try in 2013. I have my album, page protectors, journal cards etc. set up on my desk, and an easy way to print pics from my iPhone. So I think I'm set!

Former security dispatcher, got my attention too.

I hadn't heard of project life till recently, thinking it might be a manageable way of keeping up with scrapping? No idea where to start though. Might have to look into it for 2013.... which starts Tuesday. Hmm. I'm already behind lol

I am done up until the second week of Dec which is where it goes to the few photos I have printed and random memorablia stuffed in the page protectors. My aim is to get the whole lot (and my DD) finished by the end of next weekend. Considering I fell off the wagon in Sept I'm pretty damn pleased to be this close to done on time.

Hi there! I am happy to report I am caught up. I only have yesterday and today to add in and finish out the book with a year end family photo. I posted some of my recent weeks in my gallery. I am not sure how to include a link here. Since I am new with posting my stuff, the photos are not the best due to the glare on the page protectors but it was the best I could do.

This is my second year doing this project and I love it. However, this year, I realized I missed more "traditional" pages - 12x12 and some longer stories.

So although I am saying I am caught up. In reality I have pulled out a ton of photos I printed and I am adding in at least 40 layouts to tell the stories I want to tell. This will most likely take me a week or two to complete (thanks to having this whole week off of work!!). So I am hoping to get this book done before the end of January.

Then for 2013, I need to revise it a little to make sure I get to include more layouts and longer stories.

All I have to do to close out the year is my journaling for today. I like to keep up with it mostly on a daily basis.

I'm in August. And I'm not sure how much further I'm going to go. But I'm okay with that.

I just stepped into my scraproom with hopes of getting caught up. It seems I totally stopped PL when my family arrived 8 days ago and I didn't evean realize it until now. Silly Silly... lots of pictures to choose from so there probably won't be alot of journaling. So to be specific I think I am OK and will be ready for whatever 2013 brings me...

I am not sure what I am doing in 2013.. I still have a few hours to decide right????

I am stalled in Nov. We lost our lab the weekend before Thanksgiving to a bleeding tumor & I just can't seem to make myself do that page. And of course, I can't move on either.

On the other hand, 2013 intro page is done & ready to go.

I don't do project life but I had a CB way back then and knew what you meant BUT then wondered if anyone else did!

By the way, my sister and I had them in our cars because it was before cell phones and we felt safer having them, especially when we drove home on weekends or out of town. It may very well have saved our lives one time, we were going home to Louisiana after visiting Texas one weekend.

We got caught in a terrible wind and rainstorm with a tornado VERY nearby. Her car was leaking everywhere (never did before or after that time) and we couldn't see anything, could barely tell where the road was and sometimes couldn't even tell that. I got on the CB and we found a trucker just ahead of us. There was no place to stop so we followed his tail lights until we finally drove out of the storm. Fortunately, the tornado didn't get close enough to flip us over and we got safely through the storm. It would have been so much more terrifying if we hadn't had that truck to follow and had someone else to talk to!

PL 2012 has been finished since 2 days after Christmas. I do monthly/events so not quite as much to keep up with. If I need to add insert for tonight, I will but highly unlikely.

I finished PL 2012 yesterday. I went through both volumes and this, by far, is my favorite project ever. It feels like old school scrapbooking to me. You know, when you kept every pep rally ribbon, every play program and every funny note from your friends? It's that and so much more. Love, love, love these books!

And I'm printing the Seafoam edition for 2013 as we speak. I couldn't wait for the paper format so I bought the digital version!

I'm pretty much done. I have all my journaling finished. I have to find where I put the 4x6 flip up thingy to fit in one extra photo I printed and I have some preschool memorabilia I want to put in from my little girl. Aside from those little things, I'm caught up.

Today was my last day of Christmas break and my daughter went back to school. I thought it would be perfect to get caught up. Instead, I decided to get the flu...again! Lol I hope I'm feeling up to finishing this weekend. I'm excited to actually be this close to complete!

Wow, I'm very impressed with all of you for being so close to done!! My "20" (hadn't heard that term before!) is that I have 23 weeks' worth of layouts completely finished (ie. all photos/journaling/memorabilia/inserts of extra photos in the album), plus my title page and introductory pages; another 12 weeks that are partially done (ranging from one journaling block empty to a couple of photos printed or memorabilia added); and sadly, 18 weeks that are completely untouched, plus my closing page(s). Most of the blanks are in the summer months, when we were traveling or spending a lot of our time outside -- lots of memory-making, not much recording. We will be moving this year -- I'm not sure when exactly, but some time after the middle of April -- and my goal is to have 2012 done and 2013 within a month of being current by April 30, 2013. If I dedicate a couple of hours every other day to it, I think I can achieve that goal....

I've been away from scrapping for about 2 years...lost my mojo. That being said, I recently discovered project life and got all excited again! Anyhoo, just bought some pages protectors and one kit but plan to use a lot of old stuff that I've had stored under the bed "just in case" I ever became inspired again.

I just started and plan to try it in 2013. I don't think I'll do a two page spread a week, I don't have children or a husband so there's only so much that I can scrap about between work and friends. But I do like to journal and am thinking of combining it with another project, the one word for the year. We'll see. It could completely morph into something different altogether but at least I'm excited again and feeling that creative tingle that I've not felt in awhile.

Wish me luck!

I do my PL on a monthly basis, usually adding in an insert or two. I got behind during the holidays, but I am caught up through the end of Oct. I just need to tackle Nov & Dec. Luckily, it will go pretty quickly once I get started. The problem is that I am ready to start on fresh new projects this month . I already started on my title page and monthly title cards for 2013. I just have to pull some motivation to get 2012 finished, too.

Finished all the journaling - printing photos tomorrow. I don't print at home. Can't wait to see it all finished - I haven't printed photos since November.

For the back page, I'm thinking of lifting an idea from a great blog -
She has fabulous PL layouts, and once did a back page on kraft paper summarising her year using icons - eg x number of photos of her kids, x number of trips, etc. Looked terrific.
Either that, or I'm going to cut the front page of the Dec 31 newspaper into pieces and use it. We're not getting print editions anymore, so it's really the end of an era.
