well Pokey Peas you are all now honorary CHATTY SCRAPPERS--you made it to page 5. WHoo Hoo.
You are all right of course, and I knew it too, but was having a hard time having to disappoint anyone...the co-dependent in me is showing. Decided to let the boys go ahead with their original plans of having boys over Thursday and Saturday, not go to the other boys party but to give him a gift when he comes to our house on Thursday. I know that is a better decision than trying to have the boys up 3 nights in a row.
Today is Wednesday. Medicine is coming. I will soon be on my way to feeling better.
I have a few things (LOL a lot of things to attend to in the house if I can make my body move at all). Still just want to hibernate under a warm blanket and ignore the world. Doesn't help that it is cold and rainy outside.

Thanks for all the praise on my recent lo and card. I am so happy the lo bug has bitten me. I want to do another maybe with the one of the pics from the weekend. See what all your encouragement is doing to me.
Do you all watch any of the free classes here on 2 peas? I watched Shimelles class today. The challenge is to add fabric to a lo. That has my wheels turning. But anyway we got some good stuf here.
Pam- Great to see you. I look forward to seeing more of your vacay pics.
Cindy- We did it! WOw you got a new computer. That is so cool. Isn't it fun having a new toy to play with?
Nylene- We may have to change our name if we pokey peas keep this up.  We have some talented ladies here.

Since I am new to the POKEY PEAS from the post I am guessing getting to five pages is quite an accomplishment?
I still have to post the pages I did earlier this month, was hoping to on Saturday, but had a good friend and her daughter over to scrapbook. It was her daughters first time. She completed three pages and they looked awesome. She was really fast too. My friend and I were just "POKING" along.
I am also very impatiently awaiting the arrival of my Anna Griffin Cuttlebug and folders purchased from HSN last week. I am getting the page design together for this years camping trip pages, and I think I finally have come up with something. I am even trying to use patterned paper as I don't do that too often, especially with vacation photos. I have been attended online Pazzles (cutting machine for anyone who might not be familiar with the name) every Sunday night.
I read the posts daily, but sometimes don't post myself, but I am always here checking it out.
I am thinking of placing my first order here at two peas too, found some neat sales items I just may pick up.

Wow, I'd do backflips if I could do backflips. Five pages for Pokey Peas and 5 pages of layouts from Pokey Peas this month. That's a total record.
For those of you who are new, I will post a new thread either tomorrow night or Friday morning. I'll close this thread and leave a link to the new one.
Just a reminder...when you post a layout, card, or whatever, be sure to check the Pokey Peas Challenge box during the upload. Then by going to Gallery-Challenges-Member Challenges-Pokey Peas, all our layouts will be there. I have to often check it out because my computer doesn't underline or turn a link green. I have to run my cursor along to find the layouts. I'm afraid I will miss your posted layouts. Besides, it's fun to see how many layouts we managed in one month!!

Good Morning girls! Well we made it!!!! I am doing a happy happy dance!!!! I love it! We have not had 5 pages in I don't know when-I don't think it has ever happened before. WooHoo!!!!!! I am here to post one more layout before the month ends today.
Kelly-The new puter will be fine once I get used to Windows 8! I can't find anything! LOL But I am determined! If I go to desktop it is more familiar but they have done a really good job of boggling the mind!!!!
Pam-So great tp see you back! You were missed. I hope you had a great trip although I am sure it was too short!

MeMovieGal (sorry forgot your name) are you trying to flood us out at the last minute with all those LOs? Wow you got a lot done. Way to go.
Meds are working. Already feel a difference. Slept 5 hrs in a row last night (haven't done that since before Dec)...yay. Good thing since I have a boatload of stuff to do (mostly cleaning) today before the boys host a sleepover tonight.
Going to finish a page first then off to do chores.

Welcome Melissa! I'm a stay at home mom in Northern California. I have a Kindergartener and a 3 year old that keep me busy. I was recruited to Pokey Peas by my mom, Nylene. It's been great to have the support to keep me scrapping. I'm very deserving of the Pokey title.
Congrats everyone on reaching 5 pages this month! I haven't even read the 5th page or checked all your pages for the last few days. I'll get caught up today.
I have to share just one more layout on the last day of the month! It is my 2012 year in review page. Merry Belated Christmas, Mom! (If you haven't heard, our family stopped buying presents years ago. We make copies of our yearly page and call it good.)
It's a really simple page but I've looked at it too long to decide which version I like best. Please help me by weighing in. (FYI: Mom's vote counts 3 times since she and the family are the ones getting a copy of it.  )

I had to cover up one of the photos because we took it at my husband's company party. They have a policy about no company pictures being posted online. Best to play it safe. Just imagine a cute picture of us wearing Scottish tartan, standing in front of a castle.

I just checked and we (Pokeys) have done 5 gallery pages of layouts, and that's without 21 of Debi's. That's more than all the Chatty Scrappers did this month. Wow, were we prolific!
Never in my years on Pokey Peas have we even made it to 3 pages of chat, so this has been a fun month. Keep up the good work. It's fun to see your work and to know what's going on in your life.

Yes, it is celebration time. Nylene, that is so amazing that we haven't broke 5 pages in all these years. So this is so big. Good for us.
I am feeling artsy today and want to try to make a few more layouts. I was thinking about some of the pics from last weekend and trying to think about how to use them. You ladies have been inspirational with your multi picture pages. So that will be my next adventure. So we will see what will happen next.

Angie- You 2012 lo did turn out so nice. That is a great idea to have a summary page of the year.

NYLENE I never look at the actual gallery associated with either the Pokey Peas or Chatty Scrappers...just praise whatever is linked to the thread. I haven't linked LOs to Chatty Scrappers either unless it's one of their challenges. I might have to change that.
I did a lot today, especially after 2 months of barely being able to dress myself. It felt good but now I'm tired and a bit sore. The boys have 2 of their friends over for an overnight to celebrate their birthday. They stopped the nerf wars and now are playing RISK, a much quieter activity. SOunds like they are enjoying each other's company. I put out all their snacks (potato chips, doritos, cheezits, fish crackers, cashews, strawberries, bananas, red and green grapes, Swedish fish candy, strawberry and chocolate powders for milk, juice and soda...they already ate pizza. So I think they are set.
I am done for the evening, if I have my way, but I may have to move downstairs if I want to get some sleep. We'll see how it goes. I know one of the boys has never made it pass 1 a.m. Mine, however, have stayed up the entire night...I hope they don't do that.
Just wanted to let you know I'm feeling better already with only one dose of meds...can't wait til it builds up.

A very cold morning here in mid Ohio... when I checked it was 7 degrees.
No sign of Sylvester... he sure manages to worry me...
Am slowly adjusting back to my regular life.. Surprising how a month away just makes you forget so much.. Probably good in some ways,lol.
Love all the los that you gals are posting.. what fun each day to see the fun times saved by my cyber friends here at 2 peas.
Nylene, I was in Jamaica for about a month,staying right on the ocean @ my friend's house with 2 of my best friends and my dd and dgd. This was Kait's first trip... she already wants to go again. We had a relaxing and laughter filled time.I have been lucky to have started visiting Jamaica in 1992 with friends and have loved it since. Next trip will be for 2 months.. or longer,lol. The only drawback,less than perfect internet service..
Kelly,sounds like you are starting to be quite a scrapbooker... we already have seen your expertise in cards and they are awesome.
Debikins sorry to hear about your illness and elated that you are on the mend.. take care and go slow..
Well much on my list today... need to make a loaf of french bread and a birthday cake for dd... today is her bd and she loves red cake..
