Good morning.....going to the pool at my Mom's complex and later we are booking or trip to Las Vegas this February. Can't wait.
If anyone wants to connect in the Port Charlotte / Fort Myers / Sarasota area let me know. I sooooo want to crop.
I am also looking at doing a day trip to Fort Myers area to look into Hobby Lobby, AC Moore and Joann's and hopefully spots I don't know about. If anyone wants to join me, let me know. My dates are flexible. |
I love the smell of card stock in the morning.....
The Movie poster that is my avatar is very special cause my husband is in it and it won best film at the Canadian Film Festival in 2012. See it......It's super funny. | |

Happy New Year...Photobearsam, I'll be returning to Ft Myers the 7th, if you would like to meet up for a crop after that let me know. there is a LSS that we can crop at during the week or we can crop at my house anytime. Would love to have a scrapping buddy while I'm there for the next few months.  |

Happy New Year! I am not doing anything except sorting the 5 OA santa sacks I got for christmas into separate collections.
My husband and youngest son are going dirt bike riding at the motorcycle park today.

Hello all my sunshine state peas!!  can't believe that another year is gone. Today was a beautiful day and we just hung out around the house and did nothing. It was absolutely wonderful!!!! Tomorrow school starts and Thursday I start back at work from my week long vacation.  it's not very often that we can say that we lounged around and just hung out!!! Hope everyone else is doing well and had a happy new year!!!!!! | |

Margie, I guess I should know where Odessa is, but I don't!! I'm just over the bay in palm harbor, right down hills borough/ Tampa rd. I can walk to posh scraps if I felt so inclined!
Hate to say I haven't been there in months though. I generally crop at a friends house also in palm harbor, about 2 miles or so from me. Her hubby converted her garage into a crop space. She is a cmc but invites everyone and there is no pushy selling, in fact there is really no selling at all, just fun and cropping! |

I cannot believe how warm it has been the past couple of days - not used to walking down the beach in tshirts in January 
We are going swimming with manatees at the weekend, I hope the weather stays mild for that |

I didn't think you were allowed to do that anymore. My daughter and I went a few years ago with her school class but the kids don't go anymore, I thought it is illegal now?? If you do get to go, it is really awesome!!
Going to take the kids and the grandbaby to Disney tomorrow for the day. Love only being an hour and a half away, it is the perfect day trip. Meeting friends for lunch then off to the parks! |

Mari, it is an organised trip. We are going to Crystal River, we get supplied with wetsuits, and have to watch a DVD before we can go swimming. Friends of ours told us about it, and we are really excited about it. I did see the story about the woman caught riding a manatee, so we were quite surprised when we were told about the trip. Which reminds me, I need to go and get a couple of waterproof cameras... |

Sarah, that is where we went!!! If the weather holds, there is a really nice park right there on the other side of the street from where you will be. That is where we had lunch after, it was beautiful!
They sell videos of the dive after (should be the same place, it is the only one I saw back then) that are really cool too!
At first we only saw 1 or 2 manatees but then once everyone got into the water, we were literally swarmed, they were everywhere! I couldn't dive as i'm not good int he cold so I stayed on the boat but they came right up and I got some really great shots! |
