I would also like to participate in challenges and post to the gallery. I am assuming that the l/o's that are nice and clean have been scanned first. I don't have a printer that will scan 12 x 12 so I will have to take a pic with my camera. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Mine aren't the most professional looking but they convey the idea just fine. I use my camera and set my project on the floor by a window with some nice natural light. I don't use flash because of the glare. When I upload the pics to my laptop, I use Photoshop to crop and lighten/darken and resize the image. Really just the bare minimum since I really don't know how to use the program.

You want to size it to 600x600 in a jpg file. I think you can also do this on photobucket if you don't have any kind of photo editing software.

I take horrible pictures of my layouts but I have no patience. I have been told:

1) Go to a bright spot in your home.. near a window or door
2) STAND directly over your layout with one foot on either side of it.
3) Take the picture looking down.
4) Crop if necessary.

Hope this helps.. but know that a shared layout is always appreciated and I think we all know they always look better in person.
