The new year always seems to bring about a whole new crop of classes. Are you taking any? Are you on the fence about any?

I am thinking about taking a class for BPC. It would be my first ever and the only reason I would be taking it is because Stephanie Howell is going to be teaching. And I everything abaout her!!

I too am thinking of taking Pretty Paper at Shimelles. There is a large group from the Remix class that are doing it this month and I am thinking about joining them. The ones posted by Lain Ehman ala carte look good also. I like I can do them one at a time and they don't take a chunk out of my budget.

The only thing I have signed up for so far is Lain Ehrmann's February LOAD (layout a day) class. I did LOAd in May last year and am looking forward to it again.

I did Shimelle's Pretty Paper Party last year and it was amazing! Totally cemented the style that I scrap in. It's been a really cool year because I knew who I was as a scrapper. It even made it easier to try new techniques because I had an idea of when I might be straying way outside of my comfort zone.

I have only ever done the free classes here, and I haven't been exactly wonderful about keeping up with them. Given that, I am skeptical of paying for a class I am afraid I will not finish.

I signed up for the Jessica Sprague Digi Project Life class because i am converting to do it in templates this year and I want my handwriting font, which is part of that class.

I also signed up for Kerri Bradford's The History Project and am excited to WRITE.

I also bought with my 25 off coupon the Vacation class an the Step it Up class.

I am going to try not to sign up for anymore, but the Courtney Walsh class on BPC about Blessing Your Home really calls out to me.

I don't have time for any of these! So, I am going to have to get creative about how I finish them.

I want to take all of Shimelle's classes, but I'll have to pace myself and only do 1-2 a year. So, since she does at least that many new ones a year I'll never catch up.

I'm considering Photo Freedom from Stacy Julian and Cover to Cover from Shimelle. IDK if I will do both or not - if I do, that's my scrappy class budget for the year!

That History one that the peas were chatting about on another thread sounded really good, too, though.

I too am considering Shimelle's Pretty Paper Party. I have been wanting to take it for a few months now (just been busy!), and it would be nice to take it when a lot of others are too.

I still need to finish her Remix class too!

And I purchased 2 of the individual True Scrap 4 classes when they were on sale before Christmas.

It will be a busy January!

Also, the LOAD for February sounds interesting. Has anyone taken this before? Is it specific daily prompts, or general motivation or...?

I signed up for classes across my favorite scrappers and sites so I can spread the wealth:

- Ali Edwards "One Little Word" class at BPC
- Elsie Blaha's class "I Choose" at BPC
- Shimelle's Hitchhikers Guide for Scrapbooking here @ TwoPeas
- Citrus Twist PL Kit

Nothing new for me - my goal is to FINISH the three classes I purchases last fall that I never used. Until I can prove to myself that I can FINISH a class, I'm not spending another dime!

For those of you who are taking Ali's class did you take it last year? I have been on the fence on it.

I got a Cameo in December so I signed up for Kerri Bradford's beginner and intermediate classes.

For those wanting to do Pretty Paper Party and/or or Cover to Cover, I highly recommend them.
