Hello all, hope everyone had a great weekend. I had an amazing birthday weekend. Went out with two of my best friends on Friday to a saloon in the area, which was a lot of fun. Saturday my counsins came and visited me, making cookies and dinner, than a small trip to Michaels. Sunday, had breakfast with my dad, step mom and niece. Went to the movies with my close friends and had dinner. To end the night I went shopping again to Michaels and Joann's. Being 26, isn't so bad so far. LOL.

Melissa - safe travels and can't wait to see all the pics of your trip.

Rach - beautiful LOs. Your daughter is adorable. Sorry to hear about your neighborhood, hope they find the people that did it.

Dee & Elizabeth - church is always nice to go to, spiritual healing is great to have

Welcome Tessa, Christina, Jen and Kelly Jean.

BTW Kelly Jean, I live in Aurora, IL so not to far from you. Use to go to a store called StrapAttics I think in Plainfield, but when the economy hit it had to close. I also do crops at my house with friends when we can. Maybe one day you can join.

Small intro: my name is Ruthie, 26, with a DD that is 13 months and live with my boyfriend in the Chicagoland area.

Tessa: I feel so blessed that my mom cares for my little one while I work. It is probably the only reason I haven’t quit working.

Ruthie: Sounds like you had a great birthday weekend!

I feel lost. So many new people. Hey everyone! I plan on trying to keep up with everyone. Hubby went back to school and work after a month off, but it gives me time to get things done.

Cooking dinner and I even cleaned the living room. Just need to dust and vacuum. Was hoping to scrapbook, but another day gone. After I do a little more cleaning I plan to join the chatter.

Elizabeth, I'm super confused too... maybe if all the new ladies could put their names in their signatures so I could keep track of the names?

Also, is there a new Christina? This could get confusing... haha

Seriously, lots of new people (not that it's a bad thing!) Just wanted to drop by for a quick hello and welcome to the newbies. I'm fairly new myself! My name is Camille and I'm 25. I love scrapbooking and all its beautiful supplies I'm working full time as an accountant so it's hard for me to scrap and be active on these boards, but I don't have a lot of friends IRL that scrapbook (none, I think...) so I like coming here to meet and talk with you all. Alright! Hope to scrap some today but got some studying to do... and other stuffs

Jen- I am doing the same. Working, then hope to scrapbook later.

I have to work late, so it is doubtful that I will get a chance to scrap tonight. Maybe tomorrow- for my birthday- I can have some ME time!

Hey everyone, working today and hopefully scrapping tonight. I'm trying to catch up on all the projects that weren't finished during the holidays. Finally finished my dad's super late x-mas presents. Will post pics tonight. BTW, how do I post pictures on here? I've never done it before. Thanks a bunch.

Rach-I had a fantastic weekend. I hope you get to scrap tomorrow as well for your bday.

Chritina-I found out how to add my signature. I hope that helps. LOL

Tess-Congrats, paper bag albums are so much fun, and there are so many different ways to make them now. I love watching YouTube to see the new designs people come up with.

Jen-that's awesome that you live in the area. I have prob five people that I know that scrapbook so it's so nice to meet new people that share the same interest that are close by

Today is going good so far. Got my bedroom clean and once I put the kids down I plan on going through the file cabinet. Time to clear out all 2012 files and get organized for 2013. Doesn't seem like much but if you saw my room you would understand. Lol. Still need to dust it because here in Oklahoma dusting is a daily chore. It's crazy how dusty it gets here.

Hopefully after cleaning file cabinet and dance tonight I can chat more. Today is just a busy day and I am glad because it keeps me busy.

Have a good day everyone!

Ruthie, to upload to the gallery go to the gallery tab above and click on upload project in the drop down menu. It has step by step instructions there.

I just accidentally deleted all of my replies and I don't feel like re-typing so hi and good-bye! Can you tell I'm fighting the blah feelings today?

Hi girls! Can I rejoin your chatter? I took a break from 2 peas for a while, but I miss this thread and you all. I am doing Project Life, and I need some inspiration.

I have kept up with a few of you on Facebook. I will introduce myself to the rest of you. I am Teri, live in the South. I have been scrapbooking for around 10 years, but I recently started digital scrapping. I love everything about using my laptop to scrapbook. I am married with one fur baby, Princess. (no kiddies of my own yet, but I am a very active Aunt!) I teach pre-k at a church in my small town also.

So, how is everyone?

hi to everyone else! It's been kinda crazy/busy lately. I'll have to fill you all in later.

I'll go first:
A and I are approaching our first anniversary (in 6 days) and its the best relationship I've ever been in. I really am SO lucky
Sending positive vibes to you all. Mon, I think you're onto something with the time of year thing. Lets banish the January blahs girls!

Lol hope I don't catch the blah that seems to be going around. I just got over it.

I actually enjoyed my day and it's a first in a while. Kids were extra good and that set the tone. I didn't get my file cabinet clean, but I did get to rest which I needed. Maybe tomorrow I can get to the file cabinet and finish working on my closet.

Rachel: that is as great gift and I will have to remember that for next Christmas or birthday. Doing anything special for your big day?

Loni: how are you feeling other than blah?

Welcome back Teri, I'm Loni mom, wife and scrapper.

Elizabeth, I feel great physically, just get tired and emotional/hormonal now.

Sorry Christina!

Caroline, my happy thing is my G-man's bday. He will be 6 on Thurs and his party will be epic. He's been counting down since Christmas! We all love birthdays here but he is the most excited -even if its not his birthday. So that's my happy G and birthdays.

Caroline: awesome idea!!
Good #1- came home to a clean house!
Good #2- Millie's eczema is better!

Haha! That would be me. Hiii! I've never met another Christina before.

On another note - am I the only one suffering from serious Agoraphobia this time of the year? With all the germs that are going around, I don't want to step foot outside. I've been avoiding the stores and other public places. I'm going a little stir crazy though. I seriously can't wait for this germ season to be over with, lol!

@Rach - Your little one has Echzema too? Charlotte (my little one) has it all over her legs. She is on hydrocordazone cream but it doesn't seem to be helping.

Well, I'm all moved in! I decided to stay with my mom where she is house-sitting to get away from my cousin for a while. It's nice and peaceful here. I dragged along a lot of my scrap stuff (oh Lordy! LOL. It was hard to pack) so I will be spending a lot of time getting crafty! I'm pretty excited, too, about having cable tv to watch! It's the small things.

So that's my good thing for tonight -- a "staycation" oh, also I got the PL Seafoam core kit in the mail today. I'm pretty excited about trying out my own monthly version of PL!

Jen- Yay for scrapping! That's cute about your daughter telling jokes

Bethany- Long time, no see! Complicated with the boy again, huh? See, I'd rather not even deal with boys! LOL. At least not at this point.

Rach- Glad you have some fun things planned for your birthday! And yay for Millie's eczema improving!

Loni- What do you have planned for G's birthday party? I love parties. I'm excited because my bestie told me I can throw her a baby shower You know it's gonna have lots of handcrafted stuff!!

Elizabeth- Glad you had a good & productive day!

Caroline- Woohoo for your first anniversary! I'm so happy for you It's hard to find that good guy that's right for you!

Christina/Hodge- I'm with you, so ready for summer already! I'm a summer type of girl. Love almost everything about it (except the suffocating heat).

Ruthie- OMG you sound like me! Last year, I didn't mail my Christmas gifts to out-of-state family until like May I know, I'm so bad! But I was super busy at this time last year. Plus, I'm always overly ambitious about Christmas projects!

Tessa- Awesome about your paper bag album! I wanna see it!

For the new ladies - I'm Monica, 27y/o, from Kansas City. Single lady (although I may have tried to pick up a guy in the CHA chat tonight Who wouldn't love a man that scraps?!). No kids, except my toy chihuahua, Dinky. Living at home with my mom, but hope to change that someday soon. I substitute teach right now, but the work is very sporadic, so I'm job searching at the moment for something more permanent.

Christina- definitely me! I've become a germophobe. But I have a medical condition that weakens my immune system. Not only do I catch things easily, but it takes forever for me to get over it! The common cold is a nightmare for me! So, my guy cousin who just moved in with us (and is driving me insane) does NOT wash his hands after he uses the bathroom. It is sooo hard for me to not say anything. How freaking gross!!

(New) Christina: What is more helpful than the hydrocortisone cream for Millie, is nightly warm baths with baby oil and soap ONLY if she is dirty.

Monica, He is OBSESSED with batman. We are having a batman party of course. Just inviting the family and only the ones who are close will come so that should keep it down to . . . 24-30. Ack!! And he is in school tomorrow so I need to call the bakery and see if I can get cupcakes to take in! We aren't supposed to bring food from home - germ reasons.

Share pictures when you do the baby shower!

(Gem just handed me my black Zig pen with one lid off, do I dare go investigate? )

Oh my gosh you guys, that chat was pretty hilarious! I told Monica to ask him if he was single and she said her friend Loni wanted to know! LOL. We got things stirred up in there at least!

I was going to get the seafoam kit, but now I'm not so sure. I might just get the digital one. I was waiting and waiting for it to be released, too! haha

Hello ladies!

I was looking for a spot I could check in and keep motivated. I found myself here. I hope I still count as "young" LOL It said 30-something up there right???

I'm not new to Two Peas but I haven't been around in a very very very long time. My goal is to scrap regularly again. So let's see if I can do this...

What are your scrappy goals for 2013?
- Min of 6 layouts a month 2 current 4 catch up
- Use my stash for gift giving.
- Produce albums, get my pictures off the hard drives

What are some of your other resolutions?
-Improved Time Management
-House maintenance ( for our 100 year old house )
-Incorporate meal planning

What is your One Little Word?
don't have one

Sooooo a little about me. My name is Ambar. I'm 34 and recently married. (pictures in my signature) I'm about to be a stay at home
mom again. Between my husband and I we have six children. Justin my oldest is 14, then the girls are Julia 12, Allison 7, Alyssa 6, Anna almost 5 and Ava just turned 4 last week. I just moved to St. Louis last August. We live in a beautiful area across from a college in a 100 year old house that needs some serious TLC. I'm hoping to get some serious home improvement work done this year. Ummm yeah I think that's enough for now

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all! And figuring out how these challenges work LOL I'm a little confused as of yet.

Ambar, cute wedding pictures! I think we have the same taste in purses, I have the same Fossil one, just a different colour I'm Christina (Since we have a new Christina maybe just call me Hodge) I'm 19, Canadian, full time science student at University. I look forward to getting to know you too!

Christina, I've known quite a few Christinas in my classes over the years, it seems to be a pretty popular Ukrainian name (I was in the Ukrainian program in school)

Monica, I LOVE summer, it's pretty mild up here in Canada but once in a while we get a super hot day and I can't handle it. So then that turns into a lazy couch day haha

I'm counting down the days until If get to see my bf again (FRIDAY!!) He's coming up here for a track meet at the University and then I'm going back down with him on Saturday morning to meet his family and go to his Malanka (Ukrainian New Years party). I'm pretty darned excited but super nervous, but I guess he had to go through my family first and that would be scary stuff haha

Welcome Ambar! and congrats on the recent marriage!

LOOK!! Someone with more kids than me! haha I am expecting my 5th. My oldest is 7, next will be 6 tomorrow (both boys) and my girls are 4 and 19 months. Ask away on the challenges. These are just to help motivate so if you need to tweak them to suit you and your style I vote it's ok!

This is so great having so many new friends joining!

Welcome Ambar! I love old homes because they have a lot of charm, but I understand they would need a few updates and work done. Have fun with your new projects as they come. I wish I could get an old charm Victorian or plantation style. My husband is scared of all the behind the scene work.

I am Elizabeth, 28, 2 girls ages 5 and 2.5, expect #3 (boy) in July, live in Oklahoma and am a stay at home mom that home schools.

Another great day so far. Getting some work done around the house and I just got my Becky Higgins school kits in the mail so excited to go through them in detail. All I need to do is slip them in the page protectors and get started. I even ordered the boy kit since the girl one I ordered will have to wait for the next child. Hoping to get that album put together soon so it's taken care of.

Going to finish cleaning and fix lunch so I can put the girls down for a nap. Have a great day everyone!

It just dawned on me that I never answered the questions for this months challenge. I just jumped in and introduced myself. So here it goes:

What are your scrappy goals for 2013?
---To finish at least 4 albums hoping for more

What are some of your other resolutions?
---I decided this year I wasn't going to do resolutions because I never stick with them. My want to work on getting healthy and losing some weight, traveling more, spending as much time with friends and family, not letting little things get to me and enjoying every moment with my daughter

What is your One Little Word?
---I'm doing this for the very first time and I chose the word Grace - this holds special meaning because it is my daughter's middle name and fits her so well.

Hope everyone is having a great day! I'm counting down the minutes until it's 4:00 so that I can be headed home to be with my little family.

Planning a fun date weekend with my man this weekend too (cheap and cheerful) anyone have any suggestions of stuff that we could do that won’t break the bank?! So far, we are planning cooking dinner sat night, I am going to surprise him with brekkie in bed on sun and we are going for a nice long walk in the national park on Sunday….am so excited to be going out in the fresh air!!! I've got to tell you all about my huge screw up today. I spent the afternoon taking portraits for my new baby niece's birth announcements. I edited the perfect picture, so I decided to text it to my SIL. Instead, I replied to the group birth announcement text, so all of her friends and family received saw the picture. ARGH! I was so mad at myself!

On a brighter note, I think we got a good picture!

Welcome, Ambar!!

Monica- I am so out of the loop. Did you move?

Hi ladies!! Sorry I have been MIA for several days. We moved on Saturday, so I have been exhausted every night since then LOL. We also did not have internet until yesterday afternoon, but of course was too tired to get on and check in. We pretty much have everything in it's place. We just need a couch and a few decorations for the living room. Hopefully I can share some pics of the new place this weekend!

I will have to catch up on the chatter, but wanted to give an introduction of myself to all of the new ladies. I'm Stephanie, 26 and I live in north Texas with my husband and our 2 parakeets. I have been scrapping for 13 years and have been a member of Young Scrappers for about 4 years now.

Teri: SO glad to see you back here!!! I know we have been keeping up on Facebook and Instagram, but I am so excited you are back on YS!

Thank you for all of the birthday wishes! It was a wonderful day!

We are bracing for winter weather today. Should start around noon. I have to go to the office for meetings and it is projected 6-12 inches for the mountains (office) and 1-3 inches where I live.

I just hope the roads get cleared so I can come down the mountain after my meetings.

Be back later tonight!

I need some energy tips! It's a supermom kind of day - my little man is 6! - and I have zero energy!
I must have worked too hard yesterday.

Hi everybody!
I'm 25 years old, from Sweden but I moved to Florida in 2010. I'm married with a (almost) 2 year old daughter, time really does fly.

I'm new to the scrapping world but is really excited to be part of it
