Pine City, Yes, $10.00 for the whole day and one meal, not sure if they do it at lunch or dinner. It would be great to get some others to join us. If we have at least 4 I will call the store and then everyone can call after that to reserve. | |

I won't be able to make March 23rd. We have ice show practice in the morning and dress rehearsal that night. I do want to come to one of them. Hopefully April will be better.
Is that scrapbook expo at the fairgrounds the same one that was usually held in May? Last time I went it was mostly stamps and then a bunch of other non-scrappy vendors. My friend and I got some really cool 2 toned scarves. |

The ones at the fairground have been stamp expos I believe. I think this is a new one to the cities. Hopefully vendors will be listed in advance. It would always be fun to meet and shop. | |

I am in for pine city for the 23rd, and could do a car pool from St. Paul again if anyone from the cities wants to ride together.

I'm starting to feel a bit bad as I just found out DH has to work all day (and night)... hoping that DD finds a friend to hang out with or she will be alone all day (and night unless she wants to go to the Roller Derby with her dad) | |

I will call pine city tomorrow and tell him we have 5 then post so everyone can call there. I think I'm going to try to get to Archivers about 11. It will be nice to have a day to scrapbook. Ds picked up my pictures for me tonight for pl from last week and I'm going to try to get them scrapped before a meeting tomorrow afternoon and I will be caught up | |

I'm here! Just been a very busy week.
I'll be there tomorrow, and I have a friend from the Photography board joining us, too. Not sure yet what time either of us will be there. I'm not likely to be there first thing--I'm so NOT a morning person! Michelle said she probably wouldn't be there until mid-afternoon.
I haven't packed or prepared a thing yet. Haven't finished the pages from last month or worked on any new ones. I've been doing digital stuff--Project Life--and working on some photography projects mostly. And wedding planning stuff with my daughter. |

I just called Archivers in Roseville just to double check we could come early as I saw they had a class from 10-1230, she said no problem, the first room (where we were last time) will be available, but if it were to fill up before the class is done, they will make it work (ie. kitchen area, pull chairs for us,etc) but she didn't expect it would be that busy before 1230.. of course our reserved spot is in the back where the class is, so we will have to move after the class is done! Oh well, she also said there is only about 4 spots still open tomorrow night.. she was super nice!
So glad to hear from Barbie too! I didn't ask how many we were again, but we were 7 2 weeks ago, and Michelle (my Michelle not Barbie's LOL) dropped so we should be 6 now I think, we can pull the tables together I think, and we can probably do 3 and 3 as well as there wasn't anyone else sitting with us when I called, but we will check on that in the AM... SO no worries if you can't make it until afternoon! Sounds like the weather is going to hold for us as of right now too!
I am all packed and off to go out to dinner! See you all tomorrow AM!

It was great to crop with you yesterday, MN Peas! Spending time with others who "speak my language" gives me such a burst of enthusiasm that I came home last night and finished three LOs and am working on more today. Thanks for the scrappin' boost! |

too much snow for me to go anywhere. I did start a mini album for my grandson who we haven't seen for awhile. I'm printing 4 pictures on 1 4x6 then mounting them on black. Album is 6x6. Got all the pictures printed and into the album. We will see our grandson every other Saturday from now on.

I too had a great time! I did a bunch of non-scrapbooking scrapbooking tasks today! Lol.. I mean, I put my pages into albums, which was a pain because I had 2 categories that were full so I had to divide them into 2 albums, move all the pages, etc. Then put away all my Jan pics. I wanted to get to a few other tasks, but really took all my energy and a few hours to put away things from last night, finish 1 title and do above! maybe next weekend I will get some more done. |

I called pine city. The guy felt bad but said they will now be having their scrap sale (maybe like a garage sale?) that weekend. This was just finalized this past week after I had talked to him, so we can't do it on the 23rd. The 30th is Easter weekend so I didn't think that would work. So now where would we like to try for March. I did tell the guy at Pine City we would try again for another time.

I am good with Archivers again, where ever... MOA might be fun as most of the CHA stuff should be out in the store, but it is kind of pain in and out, etc.. if you'd rather stick with Roseville, that's fine too.

Sounds good, I was so excited, I stopped at Archivers to use my coupon today and they had the Glitz line with the whale! Only a couple of 12x12 papers but the embellishments I wanted!

Scrapbook Expo is AWESOME! When I lived in California, I went to it both in January and October. They have everything, scrapbook stuff and stamps, plus classes and a HUGE crop.
They say that this is the first time holding it Minnesota. You guys won't be disappointed.
Does anyone go to the crop at the Bee Hive in Paynesville? I'm going in April and if so, would love to meet you.
I'm actually going to Crafts Direct tomorrow (Feb 16) for a few hours to shop.
I need to google where Pine City is in reference to Willmar.
Hoping to meet some of you soon!

I called and reserved this morning for us for March 23rd at Roseville Archivers. Number is 651-636-9200. Ask for Sarah B or 2 peas again, they are getting good at knowing us! I used my free crop, so remember to use that if you got it too! |
