Hey Peas! I don't know about you, but I am thankful it's Friday. Even with a shortened week, I really need this weekend to relax and unwind a bit. Of course that won't really happen, but hey a girl can dream right? LOL! Saturday we'll be heading to a wrestling tournament for my oldest. And Sunday we'll be going to my in laws to celebrate my mother in law's birthday (she was born on New Year's Day!). If I can find the time I'm hoping to squeeze in a few scrappy projects. And clean my scrap room - it's still in its post CHA frenzy state and it's BAD! LOL
So what are you all up to this weekend? |

Finish cleaning my room (I made a good bit of progress last night), send my photos off for printing, and sort some of what I have. I also hope to squeeze in a layout or two. |

I need to get my pictures organized and sent for printing. More importantly, we're getting things purged, thrown out, donated, etc. because we're getting the house recarpted at the end of January, and that includes the basement where all of my stuff is. I HAVE to clean my space, and at least get it so when my furniture is moved, stuff isn't falling off desks, shelves, etc.
This is a huge undertaking, getting the entire house set, and I'm gonna run out of time if I don't get busy...real busy. |

I'm going to work on my 2013 OLW and first week of Project Life (which will then get shoved into the same 12x12 WRMK binder because that's how I roll).
Also going to start addressing envelopes for Baby Bee's birth announcements so they're all done when she gets here and I have one less thing to stress me out.
I'll do laundry too, I guess. |

1) NOT working
2) NOT traveling
3) NOT entertaining
4) NOT holiday-ing
5) AM SCRAPPING and watching all my Once Upon a Time DVR'ed episodes!!
My room is neat and ready for me. I have a fresh cart of ink and paper for my Charm. I have a lovely new PL binder. I have a retreat on the 18-20 in St. Louis to get ready for.

I want to get a pedicure after work then DH & I are going out for a nice dinner. Tomorrow, we have a bunch of errands to do. Sunday, I am going out with my sister, niece & nephew. The house needs to get cleaned and the laundry needs to get done in between that. IF, there's time I'd love to scrapbook a bit.

I need to clean my craft room BAD!!! It's been getting worse and worse over the course of the summer, till finally I can't walk in there at all, for all the stuff all over the floor. (It looks rather like an episode of hoarders, lol... ) I need to finally clear out the stuff for all those craft projects I *thought* I might try someday, like polymer clay jewelry, or extra thick embossing enamel, or decoupaging clear glass plates... not gonna happen, so I really need to get rid of the stuff.
I have the boxes, and I have the intent-- now, if I can just find the willpower to get it done!

I really need to finish up my DD, so I can re-incorporate all of those supplies back into my regular stash. I knew that if I didn't get it done before Jan 1 that I was going to loose mojo...
Also, probably another Snapfish order since the penny prints sale is still going on.
Plus all the boring stuff - laundry, cleaning, etc. Oh, and taking down the Christmas decorations. |

I plan to do some scrappy stuff this weekend. Tomorrow we are having friends over for a sledding party, and Sunday I plan to organize my scrapbook space, start putting together a kit for a heritage album I have been wanting to make for my paternal grandmother (for years now). I also have bought myself dear Lizzy 5th and frolic for Christmas and have been dying to scrapbook a picture of my DD holding a bunny with those papers so I think I will do that as well. Can't wait. |

Working today and tonight. We are traveling home from vacation Saturday night so Sunday is errands, laundry and taking down Christmas decor. Then more work. My part time job is allowing us to ramp up to 40 hours a week through the 13th and we just had a car repair bill come out of the blue and in addition to the lower paycheck no scrappin for me until after the 13th - every moment I can spare I will spend it working. | |

I'm scheduled to work the entire weekend so no scrapping for me. I am hoping to get in there on Monday and Tuesday.

I'm looking at a fairly busy weekend, but I hope to get a few pages done before things get even busier! Actually, I'm also hoping to get ahead on some non-scrapbooking projects so I can spend more time ogling all the new CHA products and participating in whatever fun things Two Peas will have planned for us.
I may also order some more prints to take advantage of the penny prints sale Snapfish has going on.

Get some scrapbook pages done and some journal pages. My intention was to finish one of each yesterday, but DH had too many "needy" moments, so I got no further than painting the background on the AJ page, and organizing the gazillion photos from Dec. 2012 that are what I need to concentrate my scrapping efforts on. |

My big goal is to finish a set of vacation pages and then get the whole project posted on my blog by Sunday.
I hope to not have to leave the house from the time I get home from work until the time I leave for work on Monday morning. A movie and some Graeter's ice cream may be the only two offers that can peel me out of my yoga pants, homebound weekend! |

This is my big weekend off...I work in retail and it doesn't happen to much. Today I took my kids to Dave & Busters(ARCADE) for lunch and games, then to ARCHIVERS, the mall and finally the bookstore. BIG day, I will be scrapping tomorrow and sunday. my only plans for tomorrow is to take my kids to their father's grave and to lunch at a favorite restaurant of his. Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of his death so I wanted to be home with them. I hope to work on my December Album and start my OLW mini.

Tomorrow I will be having breakfast with friends followed by a few errands which shouldn't take too long and after that I may have a little time to do some scrap room organizing along with general house cleaning. My mother passed away 13 days ago so between the fulltime job and dealing with all of the emotions with that but because of that one of the next goals of mine is to a small memory album of her. I went through all the pics (a lot ) and pulled out all that had her in it do that is a start. I need to take several of those in to have copies made tomorrow. On the light side of that she did have three storage carts with the pullout drawers that I kept which will be great for organizing some of the clutter in the scrap room. One of these days the room will be done and I can actually get dome scrapping done instead of just shopping for more scrap goodies...oh the horror . On Sunday my ex is riding with me to take my aunt back hone in Nebraska so I will be gone all day so whatever else needs done at home will have yo be completed tomorrow. I will take pics though as the busy weekend progresses. |

I'm working on a big stash-busting project. I decided that I may as well use up the scraps I still like, so I've been making starting points a la Shimelle. (Such a great concept!)
Today I've made 8 starting point pages, plus cut a bunch of pastel-ish scraps into PL sizes for my DS's PL-inspired baby album.
Some of these scraps are crazy-old...like 10 years plus! I found a few with the branding strip that said 2001. But I'm having a lot of fun doing it - it's really a different way to scrapbook - making up starting points without any pictures in mind.

It's going to be a dreary day, and off and on rainy all morning. I wanted to go to the farmer's market first thing, but they may cancel it due to the weather. I've got another errand to run in the area anyway, so I'll drive by and check just to be sure.
The only other plan for Saturday is supper and spending time with my inlaws but that won't happen until evening. I've got all day to do whatever. I know I want to make progress on some sewing projects, but also want to try and stop by a craft store and look for something to complete a layout.
Sunday, it shouldn't rain at all, so I want to do some work in my garden in the afternoon after it warms up a bit. Before that, take down the Christmas decorations and pack them away. After supper, DH is going out with his buddy and I'm spending time with a friend of my own.

I'm thankful the packed Christmas schedule is behind me. It's time for me to start working on my 2012 pictures. I'm going to jump right in and go to an all-day crop at my LSS tomorrow. |

An idealogue knows he is right. A person of faith knows only that he doesn't know.
----Walter Gustafson, Everett. From Seattle Times, Letters to the Editor, 26 Mar 2007.
I know no safe depositary of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power.
----Thomas Jefferson to William C. Jarvis, 1820

Well it's 5:30 pm here in Minnesota. I was gone from 7 to 3 at a training for Handwriting without Tears and Everyday Math. It was nice to see what it is all about. Have been using the Handwriting stuff for awhile in my Preschool room and we have already been using Everyday Math too.
I'm in my scraproom with jammies on and going to get started on my PL stuff.
Tomorrow DH and I will be going to Mall of America.
