...from a couple of years ago? I've been going through my stamps and realize that out of all the stamps I purchased, there are only a few that I use on a regular basis. They are cute, they are little, but what am I to do with them??? Does anyone use theirs on a consistent basis?

OK, I have to say... WHAT??? They aren't popular any more??
I STILL buy them at Walmart, and just bought 2 new tiny sets after Christmas for 49 cents! But I'm not exactly a trendsetter! |

You could use them on cards, to make little embellishments, or stamp in the corner of a journaling card/spot. |

I can see them working well for PL! They do have really cute images! |

I use mine all the time to make journal cards and also in PL. there were a couple I ended up never using so I gave them to the kids to play with. Seems like a lot of them were sentiments for cards. |

I still use mine but i never bought too many of them. I did not need to buy "sets", just the ones I liked.
Some of the ones with phrases have come in handy
And since they are only $1 ea I have had no fear cutting them apart to fit my needs. |

I didn't buy many sets - except the first set but have purged most of them - sold them in a big grab box. Still have about 20 - the months of the years ones are the best!

I just sold a ton of them on FSOT. I kept some complete sets but sold all the random ones, I think almost 200 of them
I never really used them but they were sure fun to collect! |

Hey Erika! I'm curious... Did you sell them in batches or as singles? IF I ever get the courage to purge, some of those may have to go... |

I'm a card maker and stamper so I still love mine. Some of my favorites are a chevron and a zebra. |

ditto. I was really tempted to buy the whole months of the year set but I talked myself out of it. I only bought a couple. Though when someone posted them in FSOT I was still tempted. I didn't like how the months weren't consistent in style but especially because some are abbreviated. |

I bought a good majority of those..lol Im not sure why I bought them really, I just like that they are compact and fairly inexpensive ( I dont have a lot of budget to scrap with) But I now find I use them more and more because I am doing PL.

I bought alot of them but they are still in storage. I did get some when I bought some from a Peas. Great one word stamps that I can use in PL.
In fact I have already made a bunch of 3x4 journalling cards with them.

I remember. I used to buy them all the time. I have so many I haven't used though so I've quit buying them until I start using what I have. |

Mine are stored in clear CD cases, along with all the other clear stamps I bought because I just "knew" I was gonna actually use them. Trouble is, I don't. I need to. I just don't. |

Oh, heck yeah I remember them! I still collect them now but they are kind of hard to find around here; at least the new ones are. I've stopped buying so many though b/c it did turn out that I rarely used some, if ever at all. I sold a lot of them on Etsy, and I just went through and purged more to sell.
After I saw the new releases from Lawn Fawn, I told dh that I need to go make sure I am positive I got everything out that I don't want or use anymore.
I don't buy too many anymore though b/c some of them got me frustrated in how they don't stamp well. I have a few I won't sell b/c I use them to create a ton of Valentine's Day kid's cards that sell like crazy on Etsy. |

I think I bought maybe 1 stamp set and it was for scrapping, which I've never used. I stopped buying stamps long ago because I just never use them.

So funny. I just pulled out a binder yesterday that has them in the front trading card pockets. My first thought was "what was I thinking?". My second thought was 'oh, these are still kind of cute, I should use them'. They work on scrapbook pages, cards, and project life styled pages. But I have less than 20, so not a lot. |

I do remember that, but I would not cave on that bandwagon. I bought a few of them at LSS for $1 later, and have used those a few times. |

Of course, although I didn't realize people weren't into that anymore! I had/have maybe five of them, but I hate using them because they are pretty poor quality compared to most of the other stamps in my collection.

I bought one wood-mount $1 stamp last night. It says "happy Valentine's day". I will use it for cards. I haven't bought image ones in forever... |

You bet I remember them! They funded my scrapbook purchases for a good half a year, I had a Michaels just down the road for me and listed them for what I paid on Ebay. Some of those sets sold for $15, it was insane!
I didn't keep any to use, tho.

They don't come out with much good ones anymore and I don't think Michaels even gets them either. I see some come out at JoAnn's sometimes.
I'm still a sucker for dollar stamps though. I go through the studio 112 (K&Co) at JoAnn's. Trying to tell myself I don't need any while I paw through the bins. And I also look for when they carry inkadinkado dollar stamps, which is not all the time. I got a couple of fall ones but I didn't see any for Christmas/winter. Which is a good thing. |

Another bandwagon I never hitched my horse to! I have about 8 sets that I use regularly for PL, Pet pages and cards. |

I like the idea of using them for project life! I have a bunch and to be honest have used very few though I "had" to have them lol - so thank you so much for the idea since I just got project life in October. |
