I know the Selphy is a bit hit around here, but does anyone know of any other wireless printers that print from the Iphone? I hate spending on JUST a photo printer. I print quite a bit of text as well. I'm looking for an under $100 range if possible. Also, someone at one time mentioned Glitter Girl does a spin off of Project Life. Something more like a weekly or monthly review instead of daily? I looked on her site, but could not find anything. Thinking about doing something more loose the PL, but also need that darned printer!
Also, want one that has a better ink price usage. It IS my goal to not spend like I did last year since I have so many shows I want to attend this year and also joined Noel Mignon. I promised my husband! Silly man believed me!!!!!

I just bought a Canon MG5320. It's an AIO and I can print wirelessly. Printing from my iPhone is like magic!
I've never been happy with the ink usage of all the Canon printers we've owned. If someone has a printer that isn't an ink hog I am all ears.

What Shimelle did was something she called Document: 2010. It consisted of four pages a month. Your first page is a 12x12 layout. You put an envelope on the page for all of your ticket stubs and whatnot and the name of the month. The 2nd & 3rd pages are made with the 12x12 divided page protectors. They are the ones with the 6 4x6 pockets on each side of the protector. You are to use those pages to put photos of events that happened throughout the month. I suppose you could use a regular Project Life divided page protector too if you wanted too. And then the last page of your month should be your standard 12x12 layout. You pick your favorite photo or photos from the month and scrapbook like you would normally scrapbook. I'm really far behind, but I'm a slow scrapbooker. I really like doing it though. A ton of photos make it into the album that I never would have scrapbooked, but I'm not as overwhelmed as I think I would be with Project Life. And the envelopes are great for all of the ephemera that I keep and usually has no place to go.
Shimelle talks about it here: Document: 2010 If you go to Shimelle's website and search for "Document" a few other of her related blog posts show up.
Also a few of us peas were talking about it the other day here.
Hope this helps you. | |
