I would love to create some masks with my die cutting machine to use with some mists. Has anyone done this, and if so, what type of materials did you use?

Ooooh, thanks for the link! I wouldn't have thought to use the gel medium with this...but have some, so now I'm really anxious to play!

The one time I did this I used card stock for the mask and adhered it with repositionable glue. It wasn't an intricate design (large palm tree). For that I'd try a spray adhesive.

Yes! In fact, I just made a snowflake stencil using my Cricut and acetate. I use the negative part for the stencil and the cut-out snowflakes as either masks or clear/painted snowflake embellishments. I've also used vinyl and heavy cardstock.

I have been saving all of my thick packaging to do this with!
Hope it works!

I've done it!

HL sells plastic stencil blanks, and when I tried one it ran through my Cricut like buttah!
