KBPea you're the winner for this week! WTG! Please pea mail me your address!

Hello Scrappers! Welcome to the second set of scrapping challenges for January.

I've decided to host a weekly challenge thread here at Two Peas. The more you play, the more chances you have to win a small scrapping goody from me and the more pages you will get done!

Please link up your creation in this thread for a chance to win and I will also have a challenge box you can check during the upload process.
Look for **Stash Busters Challenge**

**You can combine all these prompts. Each prompt you use is good for one chance to win...so use 3 prompts on one layout = 3 chances to win!***

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deadline for these prompts is Monday, January 14th at 11:59pm PST.

Prompt Number 1

Use 2 or more butterflies on a page or card.

I still love them and they are my go-to accent when I need a little something. Here are some pages I found in my bookmarks:

Beach

simply

celebrate this

Prompt Number 2

Scrap a holiday. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall. Find some holiday pics and scrap them!

Prompt Number 3
Use a rub-on.
Do you have a stash of rub-ons? Use some on a layout. While you've got them out, go through your pile and throw out the ones that you KNOW are junk and never worked right. I give you permission!

Prompt Number 4

Use patterned paper by any of these manufacturers:
Bella Blvd, Doodlebug, My Mind's Eye, October Afternoon, Prima, Kaisercraft, Jenni Bowlin Studios.

Prompt Number 5

Complete any challenge here at Two Peas. I loved this one from last week so we are doing it again!

Monday: 213 in 2013

Tuesday:
In the mood to scrap

Wednesday:
Glitter Girl!

Thursday:
Scrap your Stash

Friday:
Seeing Double

Wow, week 2 already! This means I have to finish up that layout from last week, that is almost done, so I can get a new one started. I was really pleased about using stuff from my stash- stamps, texture plate, buttons and of course paper (I scraplifted the Seeing Double from Jen G)

I finished my PL layout for this week so I wanted to share for Prompt #5...I hope that was ok..since it is still a current challenge. Amy challenged us Sat to make any PL layout. I made my cover and week 1. I used some old Echo Park This and That Graceful, and Echo Park Today's Story. Some old and some new.

Today's Mood to Scrap challenge showed a technique of embellishing circles with tissue paper, and that's just what my page needed! It also uses rub-ons, so it works for that prompt too. I would like to say, since the page is called Holiday Blessings Baptism, that it's about a holiday, but it was a pre-holiday event held on Dec. 11, so that may be stretching it.

Hoping I'll have time to play along again! I have one or two holiday photos printed, and I have A LOT of My Minds Eye and some October Afternoon paper in my stash. I'm going to clean up from dinner and get started!

Glad I found this thread! I have a large stash of all sorts of things and this will help to clear some of them.

The patterned paper and rub ons are calling my name.

Thanks for the challenge and will be back to post what I came up with!

When I read Prompt number 4...I thought rule this one out...I don't have any of these paper brands...then I remember that I did have a pad of MME from HL and when I went to look for it I found some Prima paper that I bought from here at 2peas last febuary....When I first started buying from here I look for pretty papers that were on sale....little did I know that it isn't the best way to choose paper...because if they aren't your style or match your photos...you just end up with a stack of beautiful paper, but mixed in that pile of beuatiful antique floral prima papers was this whimiscal fairy princess paper from the PIXIE GLEN collection...perfect for this photo of my daughter in a pretty dress. The Layout sat in table for a couple days...then I watched the Glitter episode about titles and I was inspired to finish it! I used a sketch from My Minds Eye .....using sketches has really made my process much quicker. Great Prompts ...once again..Thnaks

I'm thinking I should actually go scrap a page instead of wasting time on TwoPeas!

Finally finished my page that I started a couple days ago: Stash Bustn' Page

^^^ This is for prompt #4, I used two sheets of MME that have been sitting in my stash for about four years. It's from a pad, maybe the same one Sharmon was looking for when she stumbled on her Prima papers. Bonus: I used a bit of old MME paper that was in my scrap envelope too!

Marianne - yes, get out of here and make a page

I did a page that works for both the 4th prompt (MME paper) and the 5th prompt (a Two Peas challenge - this is for the CHA 1 Color Challenge).

Everyone's pages are awesome! I have a few in the works but I like to take my photos during the day. Evening photos with our indoor lighting just turn out poor. Boo.

With all the CHA challenges, I think I may be able to get a few in. Thanks, Marianne!

I spent so much time away from my computer today I barely got any scrapping (or work I actually need to do) done! At least I took about 20 photos, about 8-10 of which are print-worthy and possibly scrap-worthy. I'm off to bed and I think I'll get up early to try to churn out another page or two tomorrow before I get done to business (or maybe the other way around).

One more done! This is for CHA Challenge #4 (four words in a title) as well as Challenge #4 here. I have A LOT of My Minds Eye paper, LOL.

Sharmon, I am going to tackle that holiday photo challenge next, although I think I am going to combine it with CHA Challenge #2 (Scraplift two LOs).

Yay! I'm so happy to be getting some pages done. This weekly challenge has been a great kick in the pants to actually use my materials.

I made When Dinner Never Comes for prompt #1. I just love butterflies. They are one of my go to embellishments.

Pumpkin Love is for prompt 2 and 5. I used my leftovers to make a Halloween card. Now that was fun.

Didn't realize we have until midnight tonight to enter pages (if I'm reading that wrong please ignore this one).

This page works for challenges 2, 4, and 5. I was thinking about adding a silver brad in the center of some of the snowflakes, but I thought it might be too much. Feel free to give me your opinion!
